I Have a Horrible Confession To Make
I sneaked out to play a little golf today. I was a bit late and didn’t hear the instructions at the starter’s shack.
On the 9th hole I didn’t notice the flag. I pulled it out and set it down Two of the guys in the group were yelling, “whoa, whoa!”
I had no idea wtf they were yelling about, until I turned and saw that I laid the U.S. flag on the ground.
I’m Officially A Progressive!!!!

I can understand the mistake. Who really looks at a greens’ flag. You see a pole, you remove it. The real lesson here is…DON’T BE LATE!

I understand that it is only offensive if the act of letting it touch the ground is intentional. I rule “no harm, no foul” on this one. But say the Pleadge of Allegiance 10x and thank 20 vets for good measure.

Technically it never touched the ground. The grass on the green is about 1/4 inch above the ground.
