    Very apt, Irony. More than ever, actually.

    But, it’s cool…Cankles Clinton strongly “condemned” the attacks in Libya. I bet they’re really scared NOW.
    Oh, and so did the Won, just as soon as some geek speechwriter was able to put together some big words and load them into the teleprompter.

    And this afternoon, he’s off to Vegas for some campaigning.
    Hey…life goes on. Maybe he can squeeze in some golf.

    Is our gov’t this far gone? Has it come to this? The last 15-20 years has been the descent into loonyville here in the US.

    Our gov’t does like America, right? It does value freedom, liberty and our God-given, inalienable rights, don’t they?

    One small consolation, U.S. ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens was never married and had no children. It’s not clear if he leaves any loved one(s) behind.

    Maybe that type of criteria should be paramount in the Obama ambassadorship selections.

    A turtle was happily swimming along a river when a scorpion hailed it from the shore.

    A scorpion, being a very poor swimmer, asked a turtle to carry him on his back across a river. “Are you mad?” exclaimed the turtle. “You’ll sting me while I’m swimming and I’ll drown.”

    “My dear turtle,” laughed the scorpion, “if I were to sting you, you would drown and I would go down with you, and drown as well. Now where is the logic in that?”

    The turtle thought this over, and saw the logic of the scorpion’s statement. “You’re right!” cried the turtle. “Hop on!” The scorpion climbed aboard and halfway across the river the scorpion gave the turtle a mighty sting. As they both sank to the bottom, the turtle resignedly said:

    “Do you mind if I ask you something? You said there’d be no logic in your stinging me. Why did you do it?”

    “It has nothing to do with logic,” the drowning scorpion sadly replied. “It’s just my character.”

    The creeping cancer called islam has been eating into the civilized world for centuries. It needs to be eradicated. I recommend multiple ICBM’s equipped with neutron MIRV’s to take out more than half of the cockroaches in a matter of minutes. The rest could be mopped up with conventional bombs followed by tanks and flame throwers.
