Top 12 Clues Democrats Are Losing

12. The magical black man has failed and no amount of angry screaming and yelling from his surrogates can recapture the euphoria of “Hope and Change”.
11. Democrats’ lies about the auto industry “thriving”, the economy “on the rebound”, and Romney-Ryan (which Democrats say like the two of them are married and they have one hyphenated last name now) eviscerating Medicare are blatant, amateur, and frankly very sad.
10. Democrats realize they are losing this election and it showed in both the faces of the people in the seats and the caliber of people who attended the Convention in general.
9. Even big-name acts giving a free concert last night couldn’t draw people to the Democrats’ toxic abortion-celebration and wishcasting festival.
8. Too much talk of “enemies”, “fighting”, “rising up”, and other violent imagery and too obvious of an attempt to create a bizarrely dystopian predication of “the other side” putting black people in chains, reducing women to chattel, and exterminating gays.
7. It was shameful parading Gabby Giffords around like a prop when the former Congresswoman clearly didn’t have enough mentally faculty to be there of her own volition.
6. John Kerry can’t be a real person.  He’s too strange, dour, and pompous to not be a Kroft puppet parody of a politician.

Too Many Hat Tips To Name Them All.
(This was the most sent in tip of the month. Well done, Dujan.)

How about asking a former President who lost his law license for perjuring himself to vouch for the record of the worst American president ever…

And the fact that Rosa DeLauro was allowed onstage, much less given a speaking part, is highly amusing.

At least she ditched the spectacles for the DNC…and I do mean ::spectacles::

Well written and insightful. The only thing I’d add would be to mention how Barry has disenchanted or driven off much of the traditional moderate democratic base, but isn’t far left enough (pre-election, anyway) for the hard-core progressives we saw in the DNC voting debacle. The entire convention was a compromise to try and appease both groups and I suspect that neither came away happy.

WTF happened with Jimmah Carter’s DNC video address? I just now remembered that he was gonna do that. Did he? It’s like it got totally blacked–I mean, ignored–by everybody. Surely he said something…Carterish. If all of Kevin DuJan’s other points have pushed Jimmah out of the top twelve, mmm, mmm, mmmm.

What really got my goat was Caroline Kennedy. She constantly smiled as she spoke as if she were talking to children, or reading a children’s story. Her slap at the Catholic Church was dumbfounding. She is a real dumb broad.

    @66chevelle

And wasn’t Durbin supposed to replace Biden as Barry’s introductory speaker, not the Wookie?

There were a lot of last minute adjustments being made at the DNC. liberals may have some strong points (propaganda, lying, carte blanche spending) but organization and forethought aren’t on the list.

Add the platform fight over including God and Jerusalem and the blatant display of over-riding the will of the delegates by Villaraigosa to the stink of extremism and desperation.

I really liked the original work, its well worth reading the entire piece.

au contrare. All 12 whet (‘wet’ is fine) the loins of liberals. The question is do these 12 still whet the loins of our Joni MItchell moderates and independents? Sing with them now while they agonize the issues vs his smile:

Bows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
    And feather canyons everywhere
I’ve looked at clouds that way

But now they only block the sun
They rain and snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way

I’ve looked at clouds FROM BOTH SIDES NOW
From up and down, and still somehow
    It’s cloud illusions I recall
I really don’t know clouds at all

Moons and Junes and Ferris wheels
The dizzy dancing way you feel
As every fairy tale comes real
I’ve looked at love that way

But now it’s just another show
You leave ‘em laughing when you go
And if you care, don’t let them know
    Don’t give yourself away

I’ve looked at love from both sides now
From give and take, and still somehow
    It’s love’s illusions I recall
I really don’t know love at all

Tears and fears and feeling proud
To say “I love you” right out loud
Dreams and schemes and circus crowds
I’ve looked at life that way

Oh but now old friends are acting strange
They shake their heads, they say I’ve changed
Well something’s lost but something’s gained
    In living every day

I’ve looked at life from both sides now
From win and lose and still somehow
    It’s life’s illusions I recall
I really don’t know life at all

I’ve looked at life from both sides now
From up and down and still somehow

You guys are making me feel bad. I just bought the Ladies of the Canyon CD, her music from the 60s and 70s, because she had such a nice voice back then. I don’t know how she votes, but I know about her meeting her daughter 32 years after she gave her up for adoption. Well, at least she didn’t have an abortion.
I’ve worked in the music field and can tell you that if you were to eliminate all the liberals and drug users you would be left with only gospel music to listen to.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m on your side. Even non-drug groups like Creedence Clearwater did songs that originated from drugged sources.

That woman did have a very unique and delightfully musical voice back in the day.

RE: Gabby Giffords, I blame her shit stain of a husband for the several times they have USED her.
He has the say so and he is a disgusting, selfish POS. And I know these things without even knowing his name. And, 10-1 he’s only sticking around for the cush pension and bennies. He’s probably already stepping out on her.

I hope this is the right thread. Not running on all cylinders tonight.

And the Dems know how to shun when they want to. By all rights, North Carolinian John Edwards should have been up there onstage with John Effing Kerry. It’s not like he did anything atypical of Democrat males. I guess his biggest sin was not forcing Rielle Hunter to have an abortion.

I should have worded that differently, a lot of the dextrosphere just calls him ‘Uncle Ted’. I’ll concede that early Joni Mitchell was innovative and she really did have an amazing voice – I just heard Raised on Robbery the other day for the first time in probably 30 years and loved it.

@sablegsd – Yes! I was thinking the same thing about Gabby’s husband. He is a POS – I don’t care if he was an astronaut. He cheated on his wife before he married Giffords, then has been keeping himself in the spotlight ever since she was hurt. I’m thinking he has plans to run for public office soon.

We all agree blacks voting Democrat for 50 years has decimated the lives, their culture, their possibilities, their morals……….

In 2008 my neighborhood was ablaze with Obama signs and bumper stickers and Obama was a frequent topic.
Now I haven’t seen a single Obama placard nor a 2012 bumper sticker…just the ’08s still on cars whose owners in better times would never have kept the same car for four years.
Maybe the dysfunctional DNC is just late getting them out, but the absence of signage is a reliable tell.
