Judge Tosses Out PETA Lawsuit Against ‘Happy Cows’ Ads

(CNSNews.com) – A California judge has thrown out a lawsuit filed by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) seeking to stop California dairy farmers from running TV ads touting how happy, healthy and well-cared for dairy herds are.

PETA, which filed the lawsuit in 2011, had argued that the California Milk Advisory Board and the California Department of Food and Agriculture had violated state rules that bar misleading or inaccurate marketing with the “Happy Cows” ads.

The animal rights group had demanded that California dairy farmers prove that California cows are “happy cows,” as the milk board claimed in the ads.

According to court documents, PETA had specifically complained that “most California dairy cows are subjected to physical and psychological pain and stress caused by intense and uncomfortable dairying practices, have a high risk of suffering from a number of diseases, and die prematurely” and that “dairy producers take into account the animals’ wellbeing only to the extent that it is economically advantageous to do so.”

Bill the MFers HUGE attorney’s fees. The dairy farmers shouldn’t have to pay for PETA’s ridiculous adventures.

Poor liberals will never understand that “economically advantageous” wellbeing means well cared for.

It means the vet visits them regularly, food and water is provided, and no wolves except for PETA.

Maybe the PETA girls thought the ads were referring to them? Lord knows, those liberal cows are all miserable.

PETA will never be happy, ever. Even if they did get their way their next step would be to end vegetable cruelty and and we could rename them PEEVE, People ethically eating vegetable energy. What a bunch or miserable pissants!

One too many ands. And now for something completely different, PETA caught eating real food and not just some tofurkey or whatever veggie matter they claim to eat. One of my favorite bumper stickers I ever saw was on the back bumper of a big Dodge Ram P/U truck said, PETA SUX. My sentiments exactly!

Just how do the PETA nuts know the cows aren’t happy?

Did they ask them, “Overall, what is your general MOOOOOOD?”

Should the farmers supply the cows with copies of The Bovine Comedy?

I ‘ve got a real beef with this article. I think we need to hear the udder side of this story.

I tell Vegans: “Just think of the millions upon millions of happy, contented cows that would have never lived if they hadn’t been given the chance to become food for us.” It makes them pause.

I forgot to add pet to peeve. Since most PETA types are probably pro aborts PET could stand for; People for expected termination or effective termination or People ending treatment for people who disagree with their policies. Or People of esoteric thinking which basically means that they don’t know just what the Hell what they’re thinking but if it sounds good or feels good, then it’s good and we should abide by their enlightened thinking. Fools!!!

Ever see that crazy show Gary Busey had where he went to a farmers house and conned him into letting him shove his hand up the cow’s ass? I never heard about any complaints from PETA about that, and I think that is because they are just as frickin looney as Gary Busey. Not half as funny as the crazy bastard, but just as crazy.

The story doesn’t say whether the judge awarded costs to the defendent in which case PETA would have had to pay the councils legal expenses for the trial. I would hope he would have but being as how it’s California and hot starlets and models still pose nude for PETA and stars raise money them I suspect that the judge Ito’d out on that aspect of his judgement.
