    She is a DELEGATE of the Democrat Party. Think what that means. She represents many others who think as she does.

    If they win this election I hope she’s ready for all the changes that will bring. I hope Puerto Rico will be proud of their representative’s accomplishment.

    I had the pleasure (sarc) of sitting near a woman of this caliber at a function not long ago! She started with how great Obama was and went on to tell me of her association with MoveOn.org and all the great things they have accomplished. It took all my will power to not slap her back to the stone ages! They’re out there – and they breed!

    I don’t get Puerto Rico. Is it part of the US or not? I’m sorta tired of paying taxes with the knowledge that some of it goes to this country that can’t sustain itself and has citizens who fly under their own flag but have US citizen rights….

    Or am I wrong about that?

    @muddjuice — Puerto Rico wants independence but knows that without US dollars, it will become another Haiti. Or worse, another Cuba. Personally, I believe we should grant them independence and let the citizens of PR vote on it. Bet they don’t go for it.
