Taken in aggregate, it is very apparent these people don’t want an America like we have had in the past. They want a government-dominated Socialist/Marxist system where the government is the dominant factor in all aspects of human life.

Elizabeth Warren complaining that the “system is rigged,” but forgets to tell us that she rigged the system to receive special privileges as a minority/Cherokee Indian.
Hypocrite?

One word summary: Nausea.
I really couldn’t take watching very many of those imbeciles blab. 0bama is such a SCOAMF that his supporters are reduced to ridiculous amounts of lying in order to put any positive spin on his tenure in office.
I did watch a bit of Bill Clinton’s blabbing. A good summary was at Breitbart where they called him “boilerplate Bill” for his rather dull speech. Clinton is a very adept liar (and that’s one of his good characteristics) but even he he couldn’t manage to pull off an enthusiastic speech praising the abject failure that the past 3 3/4 years have been with 0bama.

I couldn’t handle it, and my wife pretty much wrote me off for the night. Some neighbors may be worried but they’ll get over it.
This only makes me prep at a faster rate. The rockchucker’s HOT!

I’m thinking Slick Willy is all about taking Sandra Fluke out and introducing her to some authentic Carolina “Presidential Pulled Pork” if you know what I mean. Being that Hillary is avoiding the convention.

Clinton is a good speaker and my impression is that his speech was well received because he reminded the Democratic faithful of their glory years when Clinton was President. However, the speech went down hill once Clinton started trying to state why Obama should be granted another term.
Regarding welfare reform, Clinton himself was forced into this when the Republicans took control of Congress during the mid-term elections.
Regarding ObamaCare, Clinton pointed out alleged savings that private insurers had made passed along – which is actually an argument against ObamaCAre and Obama’s cherished single payer system. Also, George Will made an excellent point in that these billions in savings came about prior to the effective date of ObamaCare. No mention of the thousands of waivers granted by the Obama administration.
Very little mention of any Obama accomplishments, which is understandable since there were none. We have pulled combat troops out of Iraq – which was mentioned – but no mention of Afghanistan. Clinton made only a vague claim that Obama had a coherent foreign policy.
The Jobs Act, which Clinton claimed was killed by Republicans, was not really popular with Democrats either and, by most credible accounts, was a cobbled together vague mess.
I though the early part of the speech, where Clinton recounted his friendship with both Bushes and his bipartisan relationship with Republicans jarred with how Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Wasserman-Schultz, etc. really are. This was not lost on the people with whom I watched the speech.
The theme of Clinton’s speech was clearly “things could have been worse.” This is convenient because it allowed Clinton to toss around statistics which cannot be verified. However, “things could have been worse” does not have the same catchy ring that “hope and change” had, and probably won’t play well in Peoria (unemployment rate about 9.3%)

Did anyone notice how fast Moose hauled-ass out of there after The long winded Bill finished filling the entire arena with Bullshit. Guess she did not want to drown in it. She moves pretty quick for a big girl.

Actually, upon further reflection, a very short synopsis of Clinton’s speech is that it was mostly about Clinton, and not really much about Obama.

Obama hitting the stage after Clinton’s speech, sharing the spotlight and the applause, thinking it was all for him.
Maybe he will ask Clinton to debate Romney for him.

Well, there we had it.
The “bar scene” out of ” Star Wars ” comes to mind.
Diversity was apparent with all sizes, shapes and hues. We had one head or two, 2 eyes or four and appendages that allowed themselves to do what Clint Eastwood said:” Couldn’t be done to ones-self”.
The Kool-Aid was vintage and a fine time was had by all throughout the evenings “seb-fest”
Minds were expanded and bodily fluids were expended.

@Grumpy:
I had the same thought watching the crowd: kind of a cross between a LBGT support group and a Star Trek convention.
As for Clinton, the dems had their big speech delivered by a disbarred, inpeached adulterer…
