Ron Paul would balance the budget by cutting spending pretty quick, but needs both houses of congress. Romney wont. The growing national debt $16T soon to be $25T will mean the end of the country. Ron Paul policies would cause great pain for entitlement people, Romney will create lots of jobs but wont be enough to stop deficits. When the end comes, the great depression of the 1930′s will look like the good old days. What about foreign policy? Won’t matter. By that time US will not have influence with foes or friends.

@bob — It’s what BFH and many on this blog have said repeatedly. We support Ron Paul’s position on domestic economic issues. We do NOT support Ron Paul on international or global issues.

As I have said many times, if Ron Paul had the same geopolitical views as Ronald Reagan, I too would have a big Paul for President sign in my front yard. But he doesn’t. He thinks it’s okay for Iran to have nukes and is willing to appease the muzloids almost as bad as Obama.

In other words, he’s half a candidate. He’s used up all of his political capital on domestic economic issues and has nothing left for the geopolitical arena.
