I hope someone is busy working on a video compilation of all these empty chair images.
Background music could be the theme song from “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”.

I bet Clint Eastwood is enjoying all of the photos all over the internet! They are great!

Did anyone else get a count of chairs in their neighborhoods? Like I said earlier, I covered about a square mile around my house, and came up with six or seven that I was certain about, and about the same number that might or might not have been set out for the protest.
That’s kind of discouraging, but then again this is southern California.

@jwm–
There were two definites and one probable in my immediate neighborhood. Not too shabby for MC. I didn’t go as far as you did, though.

“This is not a pipe” was Magritte. Not Duchamp.
Duchamp was the guy who put a toilet bowl into a museum.

I wish I had a camera. I would take a picture of a chair, with a big ol’ steaming pile on it. A sign that reads Your Right Mr President. The seat is occupied.

I saw no chairs in my neighborhood but I did see 3 Romney/Ryan bumper stickers out and about today.
Mom and Dad went to see 2016 this afternoon.They live in Central Ohio. Battleground, baby!
The theatre was crowded but not full. Older people, middle age and a few 20 somethings. After the film ended everyone applauded. Then, someone yelled, “Vote him out!” and everyone cheered!
AND- my 80+ yo Mom knew about Empty Chair Day before I told her about it! Woot!
