This is great, this is how you ridicule the left, slap them with our home grown installations. These belong in the Smithsonian.

@conservative lady–
Nice one! Now I wish I had kept the really decrepit lawn chair I threw out a while back.
I had to settle for a child’s folding beach chair. Fortunately, there’s some appropriate subtext with that.

I just got back from doing my chair survey. Starting with my home at center I rode the bike through most all the residential streets covering roughly one square mile along the LA/Orange county line. I passed many hundreds of homes. I hate to say it, but the results were not encouraging. It was hard to keep count because many people have lawn chairs in their front yards anyway. I looked first for the most prominent examples- chairs that were very obviously placed in the center of the lawn. I counted six or seven. There seven or eight more that were maybes. On the other hand I passed several homes with yard signs expressing conservative/ anti-Obama sentiments, but only one Obama yard sign.
So, my fellow iotw’ers- what does it look like in you neighborhoods?

YEESH. I think I exceeded my personal best for typos in that last post. I hereby turn myself in to the grammar police for re-education.

Awesome! I should have taken a photo of our street. We have flags lining the street each national holiday and 9/11 thanks to our Sunrise Rotarians. we pay a small fee each year, they put them out, and they pick them up. Our street is always festive and patriotic. It would really piss off the shims.
Thanks for posting!

This will have a bigger impact on the elections than Tina Fey had when she was impersonating Sarah Palin on SNL in 2008…
Just how wrong did the media get Clint Eastwood?

I put out a chair late last night with a golf club. By this morning, the golf club had been stolen.

I was thinking while driving today why can’t we spontaneously have an empty chair across America demonstration sort of like that idiotic hands a cross America 20+ or so yrs. ago or the moronic convergences of all the wacky new agers. Wouldn’t it be something if empty chairs just appeared everywhere along the hiways and byways all across America and everywhere else in public places and private places just so the libtards get the point ( I don’t think they will but its fun as Hell making them mad)and we all get one Hell of a laugh from it. I think it would be great fun. Everyone take a ratty throwaway plastic chair with them and drop it off and see if someone else will leave another chair to kee the first one from getting lonely. Hell, for all I know we’d all get busted for littering.

Keep the first on from getting lonely. Sorry, I worked today making deliveries and just got home after a long day. Customers still need their deliveries even if it is a holiday.

And another thing for those of you old enough to remember our theme song could be Arlo Guthrie singing all of Alice’s Restaurant. It would drive the progtards batshit crazy.

@aardvark–
I hope someone is busy working on a video compilation of all these empty chair images.
Background music could be the theme song from “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”.

Thanks for the mention – Today has been rough, one of my legs are down and the other one isn’t so good either. The chair isn’t standing so tall right now. But we’ll be gasping at the awesomeness again soon.
To put in context, my knee got slammed against a wall last night during some beer drinking pool fun.

I love these, but I think the shot-up chair was in poor taste. Regardless of my hatred for the Obamination, I don’t think assassination is a joking matter.
