Monday – Empty Chair Day
That’s what reader Sandy writes:
Prof – Seems that there is an effort to make Monday “empty chair day”
Below is an image of my front lawn, just mowed, to ensure the emptychair looks right. The sign next to the chair says:
“We own this country . . . Politicians are employees of ours . . . And when somebody does not do the job, we’ve got to let them go.” –Clint Eastwood

Who knew Clint would do a ventriloquist routine?
And that he would pick the most perfect of all dummies.
Notice to Jeff Dunham, you will have a hard time topping that.
Walter does look a bit like Biden, but Walter is way smarter, even when he is in the trunk.

From Greek columns to an empty chair. A brilliant shift in optics masterfully delivered by a supposedly “sad and pathetic” man.

Well now. How about if all of us make a little lawn ‘art’ on our front yard, hummm? How long do you think this will catch on?
Take pictures and send them in.

It never really is apparent at the moment, but it’s just stunning what a part of history Clint Eastwood has made himself. Truly, we witnessed a stroke of genius.
What enormous guts — and even more talent. A wild yet consciously brilliant and subtly crafted piece. His performance of it was flawless.

Is the Clint Act going viral?
Cliff

If I were a Republican, I would be praying that this would NOT go viral. If I were a Republican, I’d be doing what I could to put Clint Eastwood’s speech behind me. It’s time to take your lumps and move on. It doesn’t matter if he was 100% on message–the execution of it was every Democrat’s dream. You can put ten million chairs in your front yards and it’s not going to repair the damage that Eastwood did. It’s a little like putting lipstick on a pig. If the Democrats had done the same sort of thing, I would be giving the same advice: Let it go.

Probably the best analysis yet of Eastwood’s speech.
