Mother’s Shotgun Saves Daughter From Kidnapper

Fresno County Sheriff’s Deputies say a man broke into a home and tried to take the victim’s 2-year-old daughter Tuesday morning.
The alleged attack happened at a home on Maple near South Avenue in Fresno County.
Sheriff’s deputies say the man broke into a house through a back window.
The woman inside the home heard the noise and immediately called out to her 2-year-old daughter.
The woman says she got into a struggle with the suspect in the living room and was kicked. The suspect then grabbed the little girl and started heading for his car but the woman grabbed her shotgun and ran outside.
Fresno County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Curtice said, “Basically ordered him to drop her daughter or she would take action. He did drop the child, got into his vehicle and fled southbound on Maple.”
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. The victim says she did not know the suspect.
Deputies are trying to find the suspect and his vehicle. He is described as a white or light-skinned Hispanic wearing shorts, a camo shirt and a black ski mask. The car is a bright blue older model Honda with a rounded body style, tinted windows with a large fin or spoiler on the back.

The suspect did get away with the woman’s purse.

Huh, a White Hispanic…. Probably an illegal alien I’m guessing.
…. The MSM wouldn’t want to accuse a hispanic illegal alien of child abduction… That kind of stuff just doesn’t happen in their minds…. Oh, and all the people the non existing illegal aliens that Kill innocent people on the highways…. Not to mention other crimes like just being on American Soil illegally….

And once you start shooting, empty the weapon. Shooting once shows you were rational and in control. Firing till dry shows you were terrified and afraid for your life – and that’s important to judges and juries. Plus it makes the perp less likely to be revived.

She couldn’t risk shooting him after he dropped the kid if that is Fresno, Kalifonika they are talking about. That would make her the only “criminal” available for arrest since he was probably already outside of her house.

She “…basically ordered him to drop her daughter or she would take action.” The Sheriff’s spokesman left out the colorful expletives she used to describe to the suspect just exactly how she would “take action”. Heh heh.

Gotta remember the perp was carrying the kid, a 2y/o. Ergo, shoot the legs/feet and, yes, keep shooting, but save one for the vehicle and/or its driver.

If you want to know about how bad the CA Central Valley has become, read anything current from Victor Davis Hansen. Basically, the valley has become an open sewer from all the illegals committing most of the crime and getting away with it because the police/gov’t won’t get anything out of arresting an illegal. They have no way to pay restitution, they will just cross the border again if deported, and the hierarchy in CA just doesn’t care.
When Romney gets elected, the economy will improve and the socialists here in CA will claim it is their policies that are working. As the unemployment rate drops, all of these problems in the valley will be less of an afterthought than they are now and will be flushed down the memory hole. I think the CA Legislature secretly wants Romney to win knowing things will improve just enough so the socialist smoke and mirrors will work again.
