I was thinking today (yeah, I do that sometimes) and figured the solution to our problems is right under our noses.
We all renounce our citizenship and then declare ourselves ‘undocumented workers’!
Think about it. We’ll be first in line for all the freebees, no federal income taxes (we’d get it all back in bennies), we’d be an instant ‘victim group’ and they can’t deport us to our home country. We’re already there!
Stick that in your ICE-hole Barry!

A pretty sweet deal for Mexico – they export their poorest but ablest citizens (you know the kind that start Arab Spring type revolutions if you don’t give them some hope for a future) and they import the earnings of their citizens abroad who send money back to family so they can build new houses and buy new appliances and other comforts for themselves and their loved ones.
All Mexico has to invest in is transportation to the border, directions on how to cross illegally and Western Union to transfer payments.
We should be presenting Mexico with the bill for taking care of all those uninvited guest.

I once knew someone who was REAL good at gaming the system. Through multiple generations of welfare gurus in her family tree she knew of every program and entitlement in the system.
Truly, if one knows the secrets and the tricks, one can live very good off the government. VERY.
Sometimes after a long month of working days, evenings and weekends to support my family, when I’m tired and sick of my 16 year old piece of junk car that I’m driving because my wife has the nice 5 year old one, I think of those lazy folks driving around in their ‘welfare escalades’ and wonder who the fool is.
Just sometimes.

I’m with you Chuck. Let’s go! And we wouldn’t have to worry about ICE or anyone else. But…
Europe is great when you are on vacation. Try living and working there, it’s a whole different ballgame. Things we take for granted like cheap food, cheap gas, cheap furniture, appliances that work, air conditioning, a lady having her nails done, sending out the dry cleaning, a friendly “hi how can I help you” doesn’t exist there unless you’re amongst the few who can afford it and even then the dryer will leave your clothes damp and your pedicure will look like it was done by your five year old son. Everything you try to do is a struggle and the people (not all but a lot) are whining, tired and worn out. There are very beautiful countries and things to admire in every culture but nothing compares to America and I think many Europeans who made a life here would agree.
