YOU‘LL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT ’ANARCHIST EXTREMISTS’ MAY BE PLANNING FOR THE UPCOMING CONVENTIONS
The FBI along with the Department of Homeland Security are warning law enforcement agencies across the U.S. to be prepared for plots by “extremists” to disrupt the upcoming political conventions, including using what officials described as acid-filled eggs, Fox News reports.
A joint FBI-DHS bulletin issued Wednesday also warned that protesters may try to cause chaos by blocking roadways, shutting down transit systems and using improvised explosive devices like Molotov cocktails. It almost sounds like they are describing your average Occupy rally, doesn’t it?
The bulletin specifically mentions a group of “anarchists” from New York City who may be planning to invade some of the events and block surrounding bridges.
Anarchists “see both parties as the problem,” so both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions are prime targets for them, a federal law enforcement official told Fox News.
The RNC will begin on Monday in Tampa, Fla., pending a potential hurricane, and the DNC is set to open a week later in Charlotte, N.C.

Just FWIW, the MAYOR of Tampa who’s spouting out about calling off the whole Republican convention is a DemocRAT, a graduate of PENN STATE and a “personal acquaintance” of JERRY SANDUSKY.
You have to read WELL below the fold before he admits that it is not within his power to call off the convention and, though he can executive-order an evacuation, he cannot enforce one.
Also, FWIW, a force one hurricane is NOTHING to be alarmed about. We just close the windows for those.

The more I think about it, the more I believe a hurricane would be WELCOMED by the RNC. It’d force the OWSers back into the parks. Of course the DemocRAT mayor of Tampa wouldn’t have the chutzpah to evacuate THEM. And, barring a direct order from the White House, MacDill AFB would NOT be used as a shelter for them.

BTW, TS Juliet will spin out into the Atlantic and hit Bermuda, but there’s always the chance that a HURRICANE KIRK (currently just south of the Canary Is.) will hit the Carolinas directly.
The last hurricane that ran up the Peedee River basin did damage as far inland as Greensboro, NC, just north of Charlotte. And if it makes it to the USA it’ll be about LABOR DAY and RAT convention week.
