More than 500 economists, 5 Nobel laureates back Romney’s economic strategy
More than 500 economists — including five Nobel laureates — have endorsed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s economic plan as the right choice for jobs creation and economic growth.
The pro-Romney group “Economists for Romney” announced Monday that its statement of support for the former Massachusetts governor’s economic plan now has 526 signatories, up from 400 a week ago.
“We enthusiastically endorse Governor Mitt Romney’s economic plan to create jobs and restore economic growth while returning America to its tradition of economic freedom,” Economists for Romney’s statement of support reads, proclaiming Romney’s plan as based on “proven principles” to restrain the federal government and expand opportunities in the private sector.
The 526 economists — including Nobel laureates Gary Becker, Robert Lucas, Robert Mundell, Edward Prescott, and Myron Scholes — point to six facets of Romney’s economic approach that they see as beneficial to future economic success.

That’s because when Obama said, “I’ve been following these economic guidelines for nearly four years,” he handed them a blank sheet of paper.

Looks as though Obama will have to modify his “most economists” claim to “most socialist eceonomists”…

All economists and every Noble laureate are for Obama’s plan. It is settled fact regardless of what 500 economists and Noble laureates say about their personal views. Those are just their opinions and have nothing to do with settled fact. Just ask Messrs. Mann and Jones of global warming hoax fame.

greece finally came up with an economic plan – STOP PISSING AWAY BILLIONS OF TAXPAYER DOLLARS on teh fucking illegals
In crisis, Greece rounds up immigrants
NEA VYSSA, Greece (AP) — Border police jeeps hurtle along hot, dusty tracks past potato fields on their way to the river that marks the Greek-Turkish border. Sirens blaring, the convoys have been repelling wave after wave of migrants.
Greece’s remote Evros region has turned into Europe’s main battleground against illegal immigration; more than two-thirds of people making the clandestine journey into the European Union pass through here from neighboring Turkey.
Greece launched an aggressive campaign this month to try to seal its 200-kilometer (130-mile) northeastern border, as it faces a debilitating financial crisis that has caused a swell in joblessness and a surge in racist attacks against immigrants with dark skin.
The police operation has brought nearly 2,000 additional border guards to the Turkish frontier previously manned by about 500 officers. They fanned out with dogs, night vision equipment and flat-bottomed boats for 24-hour patrols of the Evros River that forms a natural border. At least 21 people have drowned or died of exposure crossing the river this year, while several have been listed as missing. …

The bottom line is that both candidates ( parties) are drilling holes in a sinking ship. Admittedly one is drilling larger holes than the other, but BOTH are still drilling holes. America can ill afford to wait another generation and the time to act is NOW while some of our younger generation still have a fighting chance at the truth and those of us who have learned our lessons are still able to carry on the battle.
