God willing, indeed. In between when I first commented and now, my wife informed me that a close friend passed unexpectedly. He was in our wedding.

Rest in Peace my dear friend Kevin.

I saw American Graffiti when it first came out at the Westwood theater. They had the yellow hot rod parked out front of the theater, the one that raced against the 56 chevy driven by the guy in the picture above who needs a nose alignment.
Damn, they had a hell of a good sound system there.

I bet not too many folks remember him in his role as Henry Winkler’s Vietnam buddy in “HEROES”. Sally Field was also in it and it was a damn good film. Winkler was excellent and the closing scene with the “Carry on Wayward Son” song by Kansas was awesome.

    Julio,
I remember being introduced to Henry Winkler by a mechanic I worked with when I was in the middle of a brake job. So surprised was I to see him and to see how really short he was without his elevating tv shoes that I forgot about all the grease and brake dust on my hands. After I shook his hand and watched him as he looked at his now dirty hand I realized that I just lost any chance of a lasting friendship with him.
He was a really nice guy though. He sent my wife an autographed photo for her birthday after all that.

Ya gotta remember that Harrison Ford performed his own stunts in his Indiana Jones movies, even when he was in his 60′s. That might account for the bent nose.

I wish my looks aged as well, but then that’s why he’s a movie star. Perfect example of why older actors continue to get roles while older actresses do not.

Could be worse; could be Alec Baldwin.

Loved Star Wars (original trilogy). Loved Indiana Jones (Raiders and Last Crusade). Loved the Tom Clancy Series (Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger).

He’s certainly made some duds but he’s made some great movies. I don’t care for his personal life. He’s a great actor…..
