Peggy Noonan: If Biden Were Republican Meet the Press’s Topic Would Be ‘How Stupid Is This Person?’
Following in former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani’s footsteps, the Wall Street Journal‘s Peggy Noonan on Sunday made a strong comment about the media’s handling of Vice President Joe Biden’s recent miscues.
Appearing on NBC’s Meet the Press, Noonan said, “If it had been a Republican vice presidential candidate who had made those gaffes…the subject today of the panel would be how stupid is this person, can this person possibly govern?” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Biden thinks he has to talk like Al Jolson or else black people can’t understand him. Obama deriseively calls his grandmother a “typical white person.” But they’re both fine.
Palin factually points out that Obama pals around with terrorists. Romney calls Obama “angry” and press declares that they are the horrid core of the KKK.
We live in Bizarro World.

When a conservative speaks the left “finds” code words and dog whistle racism where none exists. A liberal can say blatantly racist things and it’s okay, they aren’t racist.

Dan Quayle gave an obscure but alternate spelling of a vegtable and 2 decades later is still the butt of jokes. Biden has not said an inteligent quote since he has been Veep and still draws a gov’t paycheck. Crusty B bizarro world is very correct.

Peggy may have uttered the truth , but I have no use for this woman since her snarky, catty anti-Sara Palin remarks at the 2008 RNC.
