According to Ms. O’Brien, her name, María de la Soledad Teresa O’Brien means The Blessed Virgin Mary of Solitude. According to her currently semi-protected (locked) Wikipedia page, this is the only critisim entered.

O’Brien drew criticism from FactCheck.org on September 8, 2008, for falsely asserting during an interview with a McCain campaign spokesperson that vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, as Governor of Alaska, had slashed the special education budget by 62%, when she had increased it. O’Brien was also criticized for these claims by other sources, including the McCain/Palin campaign.

Wikipedia only says that the false report was internet-based. They don’t say were it actually started. Of course, we all know. Some Obamabot pulled 62% reduction out of their ass and started an internet sliming campaign.

Soledad O’Brien may just be one of the dumbest talking heads ever. She’s committed some pretty grievous boners before but being caught with and using a left wing sites taking points is a real no-no if you’re pretending to be a journalist. She’s just increased her laughing-stock rating among all her fellow lefties.
