Rudy Giuliani: Biden lacks ‘mental capacity’ to hold office
Joe Biden’s remarks Tuesday in Danville, Va. about the Republican presidential ticket returning some people to “chains” upset a lot of Americans, but former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is advising voters not to take the vice president seriously.
Giuliani jabbed at Biden on Tuesday’s broadcast of CNBC’s “The Kudlow Report,” saying that the remarks would have been cause for excitement if they were made by a mentally capable politician.
“I think if it came from somebody serious, maybe we would get all excited about it,” Giuliani said.
“But I think the vice president of the United States has become a laugh line on late night television. I mean — I have never seen a vice president that has made as many mistakes, said as many stupid things. I mean, there’s a real fear if, God forbid, he ever had to be entrusted with the presidency, whether he really has the mental capacity to handle it.”
“I mean, this guy just isn’t bright. He’s never been bright. He isn’t bright. People think well, he just talks a little bit too much. Actually, he’s just not very smart.”
Host Larry Kudlow suggested Biden’s remarks are part of a broader smear campaign against Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his recently selected running mate Paul Ryan — a strategy which Giuliani explained is President Barack Obama and Biden’s only shot at re-election.
“It’s is only chance of winning, Larry,” Giuliani said. “It’s his only strategy. He can’t run the way Ronald Reagan ran. He can’t run the way Bill Clinton ran. He can’t go to the American people and say, ‘Are you better off now than you were four years ago? Here are the things I promised. Here are the things I delivered.’”

Delaware owes the country an explanation why they ever sent this loser to the Senate in the first place.
One reason being is that they are just as screwed up as he is.

Slick Willy’s function at the DNC is to intoduce the new VP candidate. Biden knows he’s toast and he’s just slinging poo at the walls now.

If Romney/Ryan were for pushing old ladies off a cliff, taking all the money from education, killing women, putting people back in chains, and letting those with cancer die… even IF that was all true, it’s still not even half as bad as Obama/Biden. Try as they may, Obama/Biden have zero ability to come up to the Romney/Ryan level of intelligence, so their only hope is to attempt to drag others down with them, in a ball of flames so to speak. Where’s the civility?

*I’m saying that stuff about Hillary as VP half tongue-in-cheek, but one never knows, do one?
Barry’s a tricky bastard – don’t underestimate his capability for political grandstanding.

Biden is comic relief. If Obama wants to remain king, he’ll have to replace JoeBee with Hillary.

Biden is nothing more than what the Soviets would use as a low end apparatchik. Lots of party connections, thuggish corrupt brute ignorance to pad the cause.

Rudy cleaned up New York – wouldn’t it be wonderful if he could help open the eyes of those Liberal New Yorkers to the farce the current administration is.
Bravo Rudy, for speaking the unvarnished truth.

Finally someone says the truth, what is plainly obvious to a first grader, the man is a buffoon. He is not bright, Rudy is 100% correct. What is the big deal with pointing out the obvious?

I’ve always liked Rudy, and was extremely disappointed at how he screwed up his chances in ’08.
And here, he simply speaks the truth, as is his wont.
@Xavier, it’s not just you.
I’m pissed at Palin. She actually said that O should replace Joey with Hillary, and then admitted that it would be bad for R & R.
Sarah, sometimes you need to just STFU.
