Krispy Kreme To Deliver RNC Keynote

Home - by - August 14, 2012 - 15:24 America/New_York - 38 Comments

Tampa Bay Times -

In a showcase role on his party’s biggest stage, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio will introduce Mitt Romney for his speech to accept the nomination for president on the last night of the Republican National Convention.

It is an introduction aimed at giving Romney a boost from a rising star in a must-win state, but it will almost certainly further enhance Rubio’s standing, too.

Chris Christie fat jokes are just as lame and unimaginative as all of the “George W Bush is stupid” jokes that were popular from 2003-2008.

Come on man. You can do better.

    Christie comes across as genuine.

He’s perfect spokesman to address the white men without college degree that Romney needs to rally.

Romney needs also to reassure the seniors.

Ryan’s proposal to reform Medicare could cost Romney the Presidency. Obama Regime will attack with ads about the “end of Medicare”.

YET Romney NEEDS to win the SENIORS decisively. He can not afford to lose the geezers that voted McCain.

Between 2004 and 2008, Barack made gains among every demographics. ALL BUT THE SENIORS:

==> In 2004, Bush won seniors by 51% to 48%. ==> But McCain won them 53% to 45%…

Romney needs even MORE SENIORS than McCain…to compensate for the influx of non-white voters…

The only road to the White House for Mittens passes through seniors.

Obama scores around 42% among seniors.

Could the Mediscaring around the Ryan plan boosts Obama’s support among them geezers?

A CNN poll of 2011 had 74% of the seniors OPPOSING the Ryan Plan’s Medicare reform.

Pew Research had 51% of seniors opposed, — with only 25% supporting the Ryan Plan.

More: ==> the voters who heard “a lot” about the Ryan Plan to reform Medicare were the most opposed… Seniors were scared off by “vouchers”…

BUT: a Gallup poll found that seniors favoured the Ryan Plan against Barack’s deficit reduction plan: 48% to 42%.

Could the Obama Regime define the Ryan Plan as anti-Medicare? If so, Romney will lose. Because Mitt is completely dependent on the geezer votes.

Many geezers disapprove of Barack’s job, — but Medicare might be the sole issue able to convince them to stay home or vote Barack.

Yes, Christie can always lose weight. It is certainly within his control. Criticize him for it if you want, but understand that his weight problems are exactly where lefties begin when they criticize him. It is the most obvious hole in his game. I believe it was Bill Maher who said “Christie has a type A personality… and type 2 diabetes.” So, if your goal is to be more like Bill Maher, but less creative and funny, then I would say you succeeded immensely.

By the way, I love IOTW. Most of the stuff on here is pure gold.

hey y’all, let’s get back on topic.

If the Left wants to call Gov Christie “Krispy Kreme”, fine.

But we get to call your boy Obama by what he really is, a TWINKIE. Twinkie as in Obama’s cream filling courtesy of Larry Sinclair and all the turdburglars Obama hangs out with.

If I was in charge of Keebler and Obama was in my chain of command, I would demote him from Elf to Fudgepacker.

Katechon. You need to do your homework on Christie. He is in the tank with the muslims, just like many others in the GOP. I don’t know why but most are (money) Rubio seems to falls in the same camp. If the GOP had any Balls they would let Gingrich tell it like it is and let the chips fall where they may.

    Dickey Monkey do.

Bro I’m telling you, ya got the wrong picture here. “Democrats-leaning white voters without a college degree.”
They don’t lean progressive because they have not been mind fxxked in college. Most of them work hard and with their hands. Call them red necks if you want, but I see this type every day and the word dislike is way to tame about the way they feel about our current clown in chief. Ya need to re adjust your criteria before you bet because you are dead bang wrong on that one.

Brad — that’s what I’m seeing in the polls.

Obama’s bleeding the white non-college people who voted for him in 2008.

In contrast, non-whites (I know now I shouldn’t refer to them as coloured) and the college-whites STILL support Obama at 2008 level.

So my thinking goes : if Romney wants to surpass McCain’s score and beat the White House out of Obama, he needs to rally those white non college folks who now disapprove of Obama, but are yet to decide to vote Romney.

All the polls say so : a massive bunch of those glorious white, hardworking folks without college, — who DID vote Obama in 2008 — are now disapproving of him.

That’s a fact. I’m not talking about those folks who voted McCain. But about those who voted Obama.

That’s why Obama won’t win Indiana now, and Romney could very well win Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa.

Because of those folks swing from Obama-2008 to Romney-2012.

Typically, in this cycle, those swing-voters are not non-whites nor educated-whites.

They constitutes the bulk of the undecided voters.

Obama will do anything to depress their turnout, and to turn them off against Romney.

Means that in every cycle, the GOP needs to rally a higher shares of the white votes, and that means consolidating an increasingly larger shares of the non-college whites.

North Carolina is a toss-up this cycle because whites have been running from the state since 2009.

This will change the electoral map.

This is why also that Team Romney is focusing on white states with many non-educated voters.

In 2016, Minessota could flip red.
