    Chicago has the equivalent body count to the Aurora tragedy every 10 days, (tragedy that a couple of well trained Suarez International grads weren’t close to the idiot).

    A recent incident in Pakistan?, (??-sorry no time to track that down), shows that a knife can take out a bunch of unarmed folks too.

    The psychological study of very large numbers of people confirm this will happen regularly, police can’t be there instantly.

    Sheeple; Need to emotionally step up, physically and mentally train up, get state certified to weapon up, especially train hard with them if you go that route and stop being a floor mat to childish idiot killers who want their name and face all over the news, (as in, “behold my power”, -almost always in gun free zones).

    I am astounded at the level of wussification of American men the last few years.

    Do; Take care of the safety of the innocents in your family and life, (if they are your loved ones, don’t you owe them something besides being a bullet sponge), perhaps protect even those you do not know, you can get in touch with your gentler side and inner feeling when lives aren’t being wasted by some pin-head.

    Don’t go out with a Walter Mitty delusion to single handedly clean the gutters, just be invisible, competent and ready, if it comes your way.

    Call the grief counselors for the perps’ friends, have a victory party for the survivors.

    El Grande Furro de Sombrero – I’ll go along with this but only as long as we breathlessly report every time a citizen stops a crime by legally wielding a rifle, shotgun or pistol.

    Hell, we could have an Academy Awards for best legal use of a weapon. My two nominations are George Zimmerman for Best Self-Defense and Best Shot(s) goes to that pistol-packing dude who shot that perp with multiple hits last week at 50 yards.

    NRA keeps a good list of armed citizens stopping crime.

    They also point out the fact that law enforcement usually arrives on the crime seen after the crime has been committed.

    Keep one under your pillow if you live in the city, you’ll sleep better.
