Kill The Burbs

I was just discussing with Hippie Critic how much of a lying POS Obama is when he talks about strengthening the middle class. Obama abhors the middle class and its urban sprawl. Suburbs and rural areas are where the bitter clingers live – people bitterly clinging to the idea that the state is not their God and their gun is to assure it never will be.

Socialists need proles housed in stacked cubicles in order to control them more easily. No need for these rugged individualists to go rogue out there in the expansive hinterlands.

Breitbart

A photo of President Obama was suddenly pulled from the website of the group Building One America, whose goals were documented extensively in Stanley Kurtz’s book Spreading the Wealth: How Obama is Robbing the Suburbs to Pay for the Cities. The book, which was released ten days ago, reveals what Kurtz refers to as Obama’s plan to undercut the political and economic independence of America’s suburbs. Kurtz connects current Obama administration policy with his personal history, and with groups like Building One America in particular.

This website shows a cached view of how the BuildingOneAmerica.org site looked on July 19th, 2012 — with a photo of President Obama talking to Building One America’s President Mike Kruglik, which was taken during a 2011 meeting held at the White House. Kruglik’s official biography on the Building One America site describes him thusly:

Except for the guy who used to work at the tire factory, not one of them has ever done a single day’s useful work in their adult lives!

to read Building1America’s cv’s is to understand what has happened to our educational system.
the infiltration of these marxists is astounding.
and instead of burning flags, they are policy makers ripping off hardworking taxpayers who just want to be left alone.
we need to fire the head marxist, his incompetent sidekick and ensure that constitutionalists are in play. otherwise, the continued highjacking of the judicial system will play out.

Nothing this administration does surprises me anymore, but October isn’t here yet.

Perusing the site buildingoneamerica, I found mention made of partnering cities on their ‘about’ page:

“On July 17, 2010, In Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the Building One Pennsylvania Summit convened 600 local elected and constituency leaders, state and federal officials, including John Pocari, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Transportation.”

Does anyone else remember Lancaster as being the first of its kind in the nation to deploy surveillance cameras everywhere, supposedly as an experiment (I say in an effort to inculcate a population)?

Just one of those random observations. Carry on.

People need to wake up, and this I fear is their last and only chance to wake up or we’ll be doomed to the marxists agenda forever.

Just look at his Procurement act, puts his czars in charge of everything and basically eliminates congress.

These ego-whacko marxists are wanna be Gods just like the envirowhackos , they both have the same agenda…ruling, running and deciding whats good for the world, all they need is your money to do it.

Translated = slaves to the elitist, even though the hidden agenda is equality.

Kurtz has done yeomans work connecting Ubama to the complex web of commie deception strangling the life out of our country. I wonder if people knew, would they even care. Even most Rs haven’t a clue, attributing D policies as ineptitude/incompetentce, when in reality everything is going according to plan.

Will Obama’s “Fundamental Transformation of America” end like Mao Zedong’s Chinese “Great Leap Forward”?

Santayana said, ” Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”. And with Obama’s “Forward” campaign we have an attempt to repeat Mao’s disastrous policies by the worst American president in my life time.

(sorry about the wikiquote but it’s simpler to quote than to plagiarize. Just ask Fareed Zakaria)

The Great Leap Forward (simplified Chinese: 大跃进; traditional Chinese: 大躍進; pinyin: Dà yuè jìn) of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) was an economic and social campaign of the Communist Party of China (CPC), reflected in planning decisions from 1958 to 1961, which aimed to use China’s vast population to rapidly transform the country from an agrarian economy into a modern communist society through the process of rapid industrialization and collectivization. Mao Zedong led the campaign based on the Theory of Productive Forces, and intensified it after being informed of the impending disaster from grain shortages.

Chief changes in the lives of rural Chinese included the introduction of a mandatory process of agricultural collectivization, which was introduced incrementally. Private farming was prohibited, and those engaged in it were labeled as counter revolutionaries and persecuted. Restrictions on rural people were enforced through public struggle sessions, and social pressure, although people also experienced forced labor. Rural industrialization, officially a priority of the campaign, saw “its development … aborted by the mistakes of the Great Leap Forward.”

The Great Leap ended in catastrophe, resulting in tens of millions of excess deaths. Estimates of the death toll range from 18 million[4] to 45 million, with estimates by demographic specialists ranging from 18 million to 32.5 million. Historian Frank Dikötter asserts that “coercion, terror, and systematic violence were the very foundation of the Great Leap Forward” and it “motivated one of the most deadly mass killings of human history.”

    it’s UN21, sustainable cities,eg, New Urbanism..

one way the UN dictated gov control is exerted to the outlying communities is by way of zoning/re-zoning and forming private governance entities–HOAs–to provide goods and services that had been traditionally provided by local gov, cities and municipalities–to be provide by the privatization of the same.

Some Supreme Court opinions on relative cases refer to this very real phenomena as< hybrid forms of private governance

Sometimes, an overlapping of fees and taxes occurs wherein HOA residents pay HOA fees for road mtc, for example, that they already pay state and local taxes for.

City fathers like it–even though the Supreme Court is less gracious–because it allows “cities to govern lighter” (Lang)

that is, the physical design [gated communities, concentric or blocked cul-de-sacs] are designed for security; and larger ones provide their own on-site police–without arrest powers–which eases demands on local police.

The Zimmerman/Trayvon case is informed by this effect. He [Zimmerman] was encouraged to CC as a volunteer security in that gated community by the HOA.. also the local police were well aware of Zimmerman’s role there at the time of the shooting..

I mean hey, the Chief of Police resigned in that matter–clearly his position is leveraged in the matter. They were/are effectively gagged by the political climate described above.

but, I know that I’m preaching to the choir, and this doesn’t scratch the surface of it.

Hey BFH and IOTW, you got another low-level endorsement today. My Kennedy Katholic Kousins hate IOTW (my cousins are Kennedy sycophants, fake Catholics and bigots, thus the 3 K spelling). They kind of hate me and anything that’s remotely conservative or anti-0bama also, so I consider their dislike an endorsement.

Thanks for increasing my ability to torment my liberal relatives.

in the city planning level, private governance entities-Common Interest Developments, CIDs,–are powerful as cities struggle fiscally. The big developers are happy to comply with planners for implementing the sustainability models:

walk to work, school, store, recreation, etc [no food deserts], and so on green, green, green.. and generally more heavily regulated per covenants and controls than their suburban counterparts: HOAs.

thing is, it’s embedded, the search for utopia.
