Powerline

MSNBC is preparing hour-long documentaries on both presidential candidates. Naturally, it would like to include interviews of both.

Mitt Romney agreed to an interview. Chuck Todd conducted it yesterday.

But President Obama declined to be interviewed by MSNBC. Chris Matthews would have interviewed him, but will not get that thrill. Instead, he will settle for Joe Biden and David Axelrod, among others.

I’m sure both campaigns know what’s best for their man, but my first reaction was to wonder whether either candidate has the kind of judgment we want in a president. Romney is unlikely to get a fair shake from MSNBC. And even teams that are running out the clock don’t turn down a free touchdown.

I would like to see Michele Malkin interview both candidates and their vice presidents. Four 1/2 hour slots over a two day period. Then repeat two days before the election.
Never happen. I’m such a romantic.

When Obama referred to his “Muslim faith” with Stephanopoulos, he was corrected–

Stephanopoulos said, “you mean your Christian faith..” and Obama said, yeah right, or something..

BUT–if he were to refer to his homosexual inclination with Tingles–

    yeah, Thrill-> leg

    Tingles–shakes in the knee-bone

    What else is Romney hiding?

How low can the Romney campaign schtoop? Well, if the Joe Soptic ad is any indication, pretty low.

The series of events started with Obama surrogates accusing Romney of killing Joe Soptic’s wife with cancer. Fair enough. Romney campaign responded with the usual tepid “We didn’t do that”.

Just as the Obama team was ready to move on and let by gone’s be by gone’s, Romney surrogates accused Team Obama of being in cahoots with Priorites USA who ran the Soptic ad and knowing Romney didn’t kill Mrs. Soptic with cancer.

Team Obama denied the malicious and slanderous allegations. Romney camp allowed Robert Gibbs, Stephanie Cutter, Bill Burton, Ben Labolt and others from Team Obama to go out on national TV and smugly deny the allegations with ‘Harry Reid’ facts.

After stringing the Democrats along and with malicious forethought; and just as the Obama team along with the main stream media was ready to move on, Romney struck with what has become known as Belmont, MA style politics!

What is obvious to everyone now, Romney knew the Soptic ad was false and misleading all along but chose to suppress that information until Democrats had fully outed themselves as pathological liars. Because of Romney’s deliberate repression of the recording he had of Stephanie Cutter’s conference call with Joe Soptic earlier in the year, she has been pulled from ABC’s ‘This Week’ and had become a laughing stock. When will the politics of personal destruction end?

Republicans, how do you live with yourselves?

A brilliant guy in business, but his political incompetence is sickening — akin to John Boehner’s.

Imagine his pathetic reactions to the media circus against him, if he is elected?

Ann Coulter said it for me, when she exploded agasint Romney while on Hannity’s show:

Matthews: “Right wing idiots! I didn’t feel a TINGLE down my leg when Obama spoke! I felt a THRILL!”
Observer: “What does a “thrill” in your leg feel like?”
    Matthews: “Like a tingle.”

I can’t believe it. Why do Republicans agree to attend a political debate hosted by a democratic leg humper? Chances are Romney will be made to look like a fool, Axelrod will have to get his suit pants dry cleaned and pressed and Biden will get a cookie.

Don’t underestimate Romney. He cleaned Brian Williams’ clock in that last interview, and this interview will be too big to ignore.

@Brad, I’ve read you mention your machine shop, and reading basically horror stories from business owners all over the country,

and I’m just wondering if increased regs, fees/tax and so-on from this adm is impacting your business.

the obamination gives lip service to business owners–all the while choking the crap out of them– is my strong impression

The gifted one has time for “The View”, but not
a program where someone might actually probe that
vacant dark area of the universe called his
    brain… Typical.

And I’m not worried about Willard and his
    interview too much.
After seeing him spank a talking head in an off
the cuff ad lib manner a couple or three weeks
ago, I think he can handle any of the girly
men that PMS-NBC can throw at him.
