Mr. Soptic said that after he lost his job, he found work as a school custodian about six months later and had the option to put her on his insurance plan. But he opted not to, he said, because he could not afford the more than $350 monthly premium on the $25,000 salary he was making, on top of paying his mortgage and a daughter’s college tuition. Ilyona Soptic was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and died that year.

You know what the solution is, right? It’s all right there in tidy black and white – Obama should be paying mortgages and college tuition.

One thing is clear here. It was not paying $350 a month for health insurance plus a mortgage payment and college tuition on a $25,000 annual salary. He wouldn’t have had enough left for food, gasoline, whatever!

Uh…no.
When you are offered a buyout it is not buying the job out from underneath the worker. There is a clear understanding that the job in question will be going away in the future. The worker then has to decide if he will stay in a job that will eventually end (dumb), or if he’s smart enough to take the money and run.
Someone needs to dig into this guy’s background. I’ll bet he’s just a typical union moron that thinks unions actually have a reason for existing. And isn’t it interesting that the union hierarchy and management still have their jobs! And rather nice salaries, too!
I’m sorry for your loss, sir. But even your dead wife knows that you’re lying. Romney did NOT cause her death. 25% of the population will get some type of cancer regardless of risk factors, lifestyles, anything. She has died. You have buried her. You have mourned her. It is now time to move on and stop blaming others for something that they have no control over.

Joe Soptic caused his wifes death by not not insisting she have a yearly medical checkup. She had medical insurance coverage. He’s a fake, phoney, and a fraud. May his wife rest in peace.
Some day he will wake up the the fact that he failed as a husband.

I have no respect for this Soptic character. I do have a touch of sympathy for him losing his wife however for him to join with the Dems and lie about what happened to his wife and attempt to use her tragedy to blame Romney is despicable beyond belief.

Using the reasoning of the AD, it is really his daughter that killed his wife. If she had dropped out of college and got a job and started contributing to the household, they would have been able to afford the insurance.
Goes to show: you can either take responsibility and sacrifice to get what you want/need
OR
do nothing and blame others when you don’t get what you want/need.
