Gibbs Won’t Condemn Blatantly Maudlin and False Attack Ad

Home - by - August 8, 2012 - 12:23 America/New_York - 14 Comments

Buzzfeed says, CNN fact-checked the Priorities ad and found it to be misleading — as Soptic’s wife had insurance of her own and his policy was only secondary.

Update -
As Gibbs sits there and condemns a Romney ad for “being from the campaign and not a super-pac” (like the Romney Killed My Wife Ad) the “star” of this ad has been in OBAMA CAMPAIGN FUNDED ads. The “Romney Killed My Wife” guy is the same guy who called Romney a “vampire.”

Here are those details that Gibbs needs. Romney left Bain in 1999. The guy lost his job and insurance in 2001. His wife was still employed elsewhere WITH healthcare. She left her job due to an injury in 2003. She went into the hospital on another complaint and they found cancer in 2006. She died shortly thereafter. The ad is so full of crap on so many levels. What a bunch of lying, scum-sucking weasels these progs are.

Dems are trying to throw as much mud as possible hoping that people who don’t pay attention will believe their lies.

You can whine, complain, bitch, moan all you want. The bottom-line – the ads WORK on stupid, uninformed Independent voters!

How do you you counter those ads?

@Mr. Pinko — You would think it would be easy. But in reality, an official response from the Romney campaign is what they want. Then they have the inititive and Romney doesn’t. If you respond, you’re playing their game. If you don’t, you look bad. It’s a lose-lose situation.

About the best you can do is to hope that the news media points out the lies. And then you’re
back to the press being the Enemedia™ and a wholly owned subsidiary of the democrat party.

It’s not an enviable situation, but one Republicans find themselves in day after day.

The repeated term on Youtube political debates is Romney the “dishonest tax dodger” and “RomneyHood”.

The media helps perpetuate those terms and they eventually stick.

What happened to “You didn’t build that” Obama? You have to drum it ad-nausea.

Well I’m listening to Rush and they did respond. A spokesperson (or deputy head) for Romney’s campaign countered the slander and lies by saying Romney had left Bain but if she had lived in Massachusatts she would have had RomneyCare. Geezuz, they just handed Obama some great fodder for ads and still didn’t answer the damn question. People need to be fired from Romney’s campaign right now.

GST failure like many of the steel companies of the time can’t be autopsied like a person. There is a collection of things that bring a company down not one single malady.

The facts are out there about GST, but as Mr Pinko said “the ads WORK on stupid” and getting though to stupid is harder than you think.

I’ve been tring to correct the GST bull crap with true information about what actually happened, but to those “stupids” thier mind is made-up and any facts presented now are too late. It only adds confusion the the “stupids” reality. Deflect, blame, and distract is and has been the tools of the left, and it’s about damned time we do the same!

This is how Gibbs “earns” his money today. He is not a thoughtful person here… only spouts talking points for money.

My reaction to the ad is that Joe Soptic is not telling the whole truth. His wife had Health care insurance but was either too cheap or too stupid to go for a check up at least once a year. He finally took her to hospital when she got very weak because of a cold. The doctors at the hospital found that she had cancer
I blame Joe. Joe was waiting for the government to tell him what to do.
Joe is a brainless dolt. May his wife rest in peace.

During the 2008 campaign Obama lied about his own mother not having health insurance coverage for her cancer. The fact is she had coverage, and her little boy attorney only had to do some simple paperwork to try to get additional expenses covered… I guess lawyer boy couldn’t pick up his mother’s copays for her. This ad is an extension of the kind of sleazy scum Barack Obama is.

That bitch in the second video is nervous as hell & doesnt believe what she is saying, look at her mannerism’s & listen to her voice closely, this is the voice of a lying nervous person that doesn’t have ANY conviction in her voice, only uncertain nervousness.
