It was almost as if it were destined for the Twatwaddle to pick on her and for her to react the way that she did.

I don’t buy the apology-he was too smug when he was done with her that day. It wasn’t until he got his sorry ass canned that maybe his wife, reminding him of their mortgage payment, suggested that he needed to apologize, if only to soften his image during his upcoming job hunt and he had to. It appeared like someone was off camera with him –probably her with a rolling pin!

    Fiance? Dammit.

IMO, his “apology” was worthless. The only thing he is sorry for is that he didn’t phrase his hateful statements more gently and was vilified for their content.

He’s not sorry for what he said — just sorry for getting caught being the douchebag that he so readily is.

She’s a lovely young woman. Considering how she handled the sob, she deserves a movie contract.

“I feel really sorry for him and his family and everything that’s happened to him…”

What a typical, hateful Christian! Oh, wait…

A friend who’s crazy for teh Chick-fil-A asked a manager how they get such wonderful young employees. His answer? They hire members of church youth groups. ‘Nuf said.

LOVE what has been posted on indiegogo dot com. Give Rachel A Vacation! Rachel was just trying to do her job, and then Adam Smith showed up. Armed with a camera and a great deal of hostility, he verbally assaulted and berated her simply for doing her job. As anyone who has ever been in the service industry knows, sometimes you just have to smile and try to avoid conflict no matter how hurtful your customers are being. Bullying doesn’t stop when you leave school, and Adam Smith was a terrible bully to poor Rachel.

Let’s join together to give a big THANK YOU to Rachel and her infinite kindness, she deserves a vacation! (Especially since she could use this for her honeymoon!)

And so representative of Chick-Fil-A. A first-class company only hires first-class employees.

Another Amreican who makes America great. Kudos to you, Rachel.

FYI – For the Biblical reference (Proverbs 25:21f) about giving water: when read in context, you give your enemy food if he’s hungry, water if he’s thirsty, ‘for live coals will you heap upon his head,’ meaning, your charity to your enemy will cause him remorse and embarassment for the harm he has caused you, or increased punishment for refusing reconciliation (like losing your position as CFO of a company.)

America’s Boy Scouts and the Liberals Who Hate Them

On the surface, the Boy Scouts of America oath, “On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law, to help other people at all times, and to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight,” seems an admirable, innocuous, inoffensive promise.

The Scouts are simply pledging to abide by God’s Commandments, the laws of the United States of America and of their organization, to be of assistance when needed, to stay fit, be on their toes, and be decent human beings, all of which vows are commendable to normal people.

Nevertheless, the Boy Scouts oath and everything the 102 year old, 2.7 million member BSA represents are abhorrent to leftists and homosexuals. As for leftist homosexuals, which is pretty much a redundancy, the BSA is considered the equivalent of the KKK, the American Nazi Party, or worse and all because they stand for honor, morality, and common decency.

And, liberals don’t only detest the Boy Scout principles, they are as committed to destroying the BSA as they are to bankrupting Chick-fil-A for its grave offense of publicly announcing a belief in traditional marriage. Americans proclaimed their agreement by flooding Chick-fil-A with business.

The sad reality that the liberal wing of the Democrat Party, another redundancy, opposes both freedom of speech and fundamental Christian beliefs was evidenced twice on CNN, “the most trusted name in news,” first when a gay-skewed panel on Soledad O’Brien’s July 18th “Starting Point” encouraged homosexuals to attack the Boy Scouts, an invitation which was followed by Don Lemon’s guest, ousted Cub Scout leader Jennifer Tyrrell, presenting her case for a lesbian to guide young boys through the treacherous shoals of childhood.

After a two year review, the Boy Scouts of America reaffirmed its ban on gay members, a position supported by the United States Supreme Court more than a decade ago and endorsed by most parents of Scouts.

That BSA decision was immediately attacked by homosexuals as being out of touch with the times and “on the wrong side of history” or, as one gay activist said, “Just because the Supreme Court has said the Boy Scouts are allowed to have this policy does not mean that it is just or that it is consistent with basic human compassion.”

    I guess that view would depend . . .

    __
I agree with you in part. While I appreciate what you’re saying, it nonetheless captures the passage in it’s legal sense, eg, the enemy’s remorse, the CFO and so on

not errant per se, but it’s speculation based on reasoned and intuitive experience–it’s exegetic, and forces the text somewhat, in that, it simply exceeds what is actually written there..

it doesn’t say anything about the affect of the overcoming evil with good [coals] example, if you will..

it says the Lord will reward you.

there have a been a few debates, about the burning coals here, whether or not, that the referent is exclusively regarding the Levitical reference to the ever burning coals on the Temple altar.. clearly, these are the coals mentioned here.

still, this being an allusion to those coals–which are contextually inseparable from the shekinah glory [the Light] in the Temple, that burn[ed] without coals..

requires further [much further] cross reference in order to find it’s unmolested context within the whole counsel of the Writ.

Only Priests had access to that fire, those literal coals.. [until Christ]..

Christ Is that fire–He is Whom those burning coals represent.. He Is the Promise signified in the Shekinah Glory.

the thing is visible, as counterfeited in the Greek pantheon as well, when the Holy Fire was brought down by runners from the holy Mt Olympus..

When Jesus of Nazareth proclaimed , “I Am the Light… [sic]; it fully complemented [completed] the context.

anyhow, whenever I was fortunate to study this a tad, a few years back, this is what I came away with.

Should you read this, have a good day bro– a truly dang good day!

the Olympic Torch is a total counterfeit of the Burning Coals referenced in the Chik-fil-a thing.

I’m not sure if can explain something I wonder about in this thing. But, with the burning coals as a sort of fulcrum</i in the thing–

It was the ex CFO's philosophical position with the gimme free water, because I’m your enemy thing..

    is a paradox of irony.

His pretense was to exploit a perceived hypocrisy on the part of Chik-fil-a

he postured himself the more moral in the thing–not believing the strength of the burning coals paradigm–

Ie, he pulls up to the window and says–in effect, put burning coals on my head–

next day or so– he said in effect, “Thank You”

    ; – )
