Uh Oh – Harry Reid’s Story About Romney is a Fact!
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) fired back at Republicans accusing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) of lying about a Bain Capital investor telling him that Mitt Romney hadn’t paid taxes in 10 years. They don’t know what they’re talking about, Pelosi says.
“Harry Reid made a statement that is true. Somebody told him. It is a fact,” Pelosi told The Huffington Post in a Sunday interview. “Whether he did or not can easily be disposed of: Mitt Romney can release his tax returns and show whether he paid taxes.”

Did you see what she just did there? Her statement is true. It is a fact that someone told Harry Reid that Romney didn’t pay taxes.
She isn’t saying that WHAT someone told Reid was true. She is saying THAT someone told him something is a fact. She’ just hoping the brain-dead, knuckle-dragging koolaidians don’t see through her BS.
Whether he did [pay any taxes on the money he got for college, or if the gift was taxed at the time of benefaction] can easily be disposed of: Barack Obama can release his college records and show whether those taxes were paid.

Or… Harry &Nancy can validate to the American people how they knows this, who told them and how that person is aware of this if it is true… like if this Administration has used the IRS to go after anyone opposing it.
And while they are at it they can lead by example and release the last ten years of their income taxes and have Obama unseal his records.

Are public servants immune from slander/libel lawsuits? I don’t believe so, and I don’t think if any regular citizen accused someone of a crime on a whim with the intention of damaging the reputation of the accused they would find a favorable outcome in court. Romney should file a lawsuit against Reid, pelosi, and every MSM outlet that reported the smear and sue for 100′s of millions in damages. Then once filed, state he’ll release his returns when obumbles releases his college records in their entirety to include admissions documents.

It may be that Romney and his advisers are a lot smarter than we think. Can you imagine this scenario?
Romney’s people select an Obama fool and “leak” a story that Romney didn’t pay taxes for 10 years. The fool runs with it and Reid is selected as the media anus from which this turd will drop into the body politic.
Stir this media stew with some new “inside” news that Romney is panicked by all the attention. Now Pelosi picks up the turd and runs with it, all the while ignoring all the cover upping that Obugger has done since 2008.
Wait for this pot to hit full boil and then a month or so before the election release the tax returns as well as ads showing how the dems have been beating a dead horse while the economy is tanking and Obugger’s friends are enriching themselves at the taxpayer’s expense..
