Nice! A graph of his achievements (or lack thereof) would be interesting to see. Probably look like a speck of fly shit on the moon.

    Important to remember…
The first and last letters in BLS signal the quality of their information,
Boots and Foot rests are essential for “info dumps”,
Drop a million or so folks and the number goes down,
That is not any kind of economic improvement,
Similar to using the numbers of vehicles stolen to determine popularity.

Bushs fault…problem solved, what time is tee time?

I knew there had to be a reasonably good explanation for the media to stay silent on these outstanding numbers.

Things don’t look to promising for the “big O” (maybe it’s because he is a fake O…).

That may be a good idea for an IOTW picture series” – Famous fake “O”s:
    Hanoi Jane in “Klute”
Meg Ryan in “When Harry Met Sally”.
    Finish up with Oblubberer…

By the way, Clinton’s numbers look so good because Newt Gingrich was Speaker of the House, and they controlled the purse strings.

Since when do liberals care about FACTS? You could show every drone liberal this chart and they still would crow about the 4 million jobs created under Obama and how Obama kept us out of a great depression and his policies are working and the only reason the recovery has slowed is because of the Republican controlled Congress.

    They are drones.

    They are too far gone.

There is no changing their minds.

@gates – EXACTLY! and that should be repeated every time a lib says “Bill Clinton raised taxes and created more jobs …”

I have no idea why Republican leaders and most conservative commentators cannot figure this out

I’m sure Dear Leader would do better if the graph charted the number of rounds of golf the jackass has played since innauguration.

These statistics mean nothing to an Obumphuk voter.

A third of them are ignorant, illiterate or generally clueless outside of video games and reality tv.

Another third are black, while the last third still have white guilt and/or are too fuggin proud to admit they made a mistake and will want give him another chance to prove them right.

I would like to see the number of jobs created as a percent of population. If I create 10 million jobs with a population of 100 million, that’s 10%. On the other hand, if you create 12 million jobs with a population of 150 million, that’s 8%. You may have created more jobs, but I’ve done better with what I had.

It’s like some recording artist today saying they’ve sold more albums than The Beatles. Sure. In the late 60s, the planet had 2 billion people on it. Now there are 6 billion. It’s easier to sell more, when you have more to sell to.

    Percentages keep that in perspective.

@Diann: Exactly! I have a friend that is as liberal as they come and those talking points are his to a tee. “My mind’s made up; don’t confuse me with the facts.” If we refuse to swallow the kool-aid the MSM serves up on a daily basis, and we get to the polls in record numbers, we will yet turn this ship around…..

I would also like to note Bill Clinton not only worked WITH Republicans to make the government function in a halfway decent way (although his policies screwed up the military and W had to fix that) he also had the benefit of the Y2K scare to boost the economy. After everyone spent all their cash prepping for the technology apocalypse (which didn’t show) they stopped spending cash.

Prime example, I worked for a company that at the end of 1999 had stock worth about $130 a share. After Y2K was over, the stock slowly declined and dropped off the Dow after lingering below $1 a share.

What you people don’t understand is that he was too busy with healing the planet and calming the oceans to do with something as trivial and frivolous as employment and the economy. Jeez.

Plus, putting him at the bottom of the chart–that’s just racist.

@Houston — I agree. Clinton had three things going for him. The Y2K scare, the DotCom bubble, and a Republican congress. I got a job at an insurance company that was prepping for Y2K. Once it was over, they outsourced the IT department and some of the jobs went too.

By the end of Q1 in 2000, all the leading economic indicators were trending down. Though you couldn’t tell the liberals that. They tried to blame the lost jobs of Y2K and the DotCom bubble on Bush. But most of those were temporary anyway to meet a need that no longer existed after January 1, 2000.
