Afterburner with Bill Whittle: Going out of Business
An excellent Afterburner to start your Friday:
That which cannot continue, will not continue. Does this adage apply to California? Could California simply go out of business? Bill Whittle tells you a cautionary tale about the California government and how it is driving high tech businesses to Texas at the same time that it is building trains to nowhere. Is the California government going to bring the rest of the United States down a path to fiscal ruin?

Make all the H-wood stars who are touting socialism pay for it. See how fast they would turn conservative.

It’s much worse than Bill describes. Our highly intelligent leaders justified a good portion of another record setting budget based on revenue it was going to collect off the predicted sales price if Facebook shares. That didn’t work out so well. Now they are in even deeper shit. If anybody ran a biz they way these morons try and run this state they would be broke in a heart beat.

If they can’t, Obama will.

Can we try the old Lex Luthor plan with a couple of missiles and start over with Arizona and Nevada coastlines?

It is an amazing thing to watch how common sense and rationality have completely vanished in our governments and our society.
…stunning, actually.

It’s so simple, really. It’s the liberals that complicate EVERYTHING.

If Obama wins a second term the federal government will move to bailout bankrupt state (California, Illinois, Michigan, etc.) This will amount to a huge transfer of wealth from fiscally responsible states (re: red states) to the fiscally inept states. If that does not spur secession and tax revolution I don’t know what will.

Welcome to Texas. Just remember how and why you come, and vote accordingly.

Jane, and that’s the problem. Back in the day Cali was pretty damn conservative. Then the big migration took place and they decided they would fix the place for us. Shit Nancy Pelosi from Baltimore. If I was Texas I’d give them some sort of written test and protect that conservative mind set to the best of my ability. Me and the rest of the conservatives in Cali. We’re waiting for it to go bust, hoping there’s no bail out so we can get our state back

I fear it’s inevitable that the shit is going to hit the fan. When it does, I want to be in Texas and not where I am now–Bloombergistan.
