Five Feet of Fury

The author of a California bill that would forbid minors from seeking therapy to overcome unwanted feelings of same-sex attraction has admitted his intention was to undermine parental rights.

“The attack on parental rights is exactly the whole point of the bill, because we don’t want to let parents harm their children,” said State Senator Ted Lieu, D-Torrance.

At some point I may have to move. There’s a bill in the CA legislature to actually confiscate arms which are now legal. That won’t end well.

Maybe conservatives of any stripe shouldn’t run in any elections in California for a decade or so. Let the liberals have complete and unfettered reign and wait for the complete breakdown of the economy and most of the society. Then let the populace that keep voting these Democrat anarchists in to turn to conservatives (real ones) to save their state. All they would really be doing is hurrying on a process that already unfolding in a most painful way.

    From Wikipedia:

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Lieu’s family immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio, where he grew up. Lieu and his wife Betty (a former California Deputy Attorney General) reside in Torrance with their two sons, Brennan and Austin.

I wonder if he is fine with the state getting between him and his two sons, should they have ‘feelings’ of same sex tendencies?

Maybe we should start looking into the lives of these people who want to take away the rights of parents and tell everyone else how to live and see just WTF they are up to that gives them such a grim view on freedom and why they think someone else besides them should be able to tell everyone else what to do.

Nine times out of ten, it’s projection and we should be wary to the utmost of these people.

It takes a Village. Actually it did at one time.
When I was a little prick, a neighbor would give me a clip across the ear if I did something stupid, and then tell my parents, from whom I would get a clip across the other ear. I lived.
That all ended with Doctor Spock, law suits, the death of corporal punishment, rights, and teachers being told “how dare you touch my child.”
Now Mr. Lieu wants the gobermnt to take over raising children in lieu of parents.
That’s progression for you. One extreme to the other.
No matter who gets in in November I think we are fucked as a Nation.
I’ll continue to pray for a Romney victory.

I’ve been watching the progress of this abomination for a while now (CA SB 1172). It hits home, because my husband is a licensed therapist. I asked him what he’d do if this law passed. He said he wouldn’t stop doing what he’s always done, and if he got arrested/sued/persecuted, then so be it.

California = deeply infected by socialism and homosexualism

Why is homosexualism always so closely related to socialism? Can’t find one without the other.

The attack on parental rights is exactly the whole point of the bill, because we don’t want to let parents harm their children.

But they can get abortions? And since one of the parental rights is to NOT be a parent, that is, to get an abortion, will this bill outlaw abortion?

I’m confused. Oh, wait! No I’m not! It’s a law written by a liberal! I understand now.
