Does Rep Steve King Endorse Dog Fighting?
Stink Progress had the story, so I’m wondering if it’s possible that they skewed the meaning of what he thinks.
But who knows? If he does endorse dog fighting I invite him to participate in a cage match with a pit bull.
Is he making the point that boxing is barbaric, or is he really endorsing dog fighting?

IMHO I don’t think he was endorsing dog fighting so much as he was saying hey why do theses societies place animal lives above human life.

The left is calling King an idiot, on that point, because they say that THE TWO BOXERS GET IN THE RING OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL!!!!

He obviously does not understand the link between animal cruelty and human violence. By him saying that it being a felony places the lives of the animals above human lives he doesn’t get that when people are involved in animal cruelty, whether the owners of the dogs or the spectators, they are more likely to commit violent crimes against humans. So, by making dog fighting illegal, you are not only prohibiting a cruel act, but you may very likely be preventing future cruel acts upon humans.
