Clever
Clever and pithy. This is from a commenter on Ace of Spades regarding the idiotic “teabagger” animation, by a hack named Mark Fiore, that appeared on NPR.
Fun project! I’ve been posting comments there with the word ‘teabagger’ in them and asking other commenters to report them for abuse as ‘Hate Speech’ or ‘Obscenity/vulgarity’ for using innappropriate sexual language to describe taxpayers. Several of my comments have been removed already! I wonder how long it will be before they ban me for using the term they used in their own video?
Ooooh! That didn’t take long! Most of my comments there have been marked “An NPR moderator has removed this comment because it does not adhere to the discussion guidelines“. Snort.
Classic. Well done, Starboardhelm.

My conversation with the “obamabudswoman” included, NPR could go out of business if enough people protested. The woman snickered that will never happen. I said “Oh yeah! Nobody wants to hear Liberal radio. Ask anyone connected to Air America. The only reason you’re in business is because of government subsidy. If you had to depend on donations alone you’d go down faster than the Hindenburg.”
She didn’t like my suggestion of calling my local representative and request no more public funds to NPR.

10 in the X ring! Wonderful, but NPR drones are far too self-absorbed to realize they’re hoist on their own petard.

NPR is like BBC but we have alternatives, The Brits dont.

My once liberal daughter, now just somewhat liberal, listened to NPR throughout her busy day. She now is listening to Rush Limbaugh, but only for a short time during the afternoon because it interferes with “naptime.” Once again, we are converting the Lions into Christians.

Ever since the Metropolitan Opera began putting out their productions on VHS, LD, DVD and now LIVE in movie theaters and streamed via internet, I’ve had no need to tune in PBS AT ALL. Bush almost succeeded in jerking their funding but something changed his mind. Still don’t know what.

We really need to scrutinize these public funds flowing to liberal (aka socialist) causes. Its just running rampant. ACORN comes to mind as an organization that is blatantly one sided politically, yet gets tax payer dollars. It mystifies me.
Of course, if I had my druthers, I would go scorched earth and get rid of every single one of the multi-letter Federal agencies except for the FBI, CIA and NSA (and maybe the USPO) perhaps – at least at first. Maybe I’d just move them under the Pentagon.

Included below is a message I sent to the local newspaper last week. I have not received a reply and the next issue of the paper is due this Thursday.

Subject: The Left’s Turn Column
I am curious as to whether or not the paper reviews material written by columnists before it appears in print.
In the December 30 issue of The Current, The Left Turn’s column contained the following:
“. . . and some of the nonsense floated by the “tea-baggers” . . .”
You can check the following link to see what the term “tea-baggers” means – http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=tea+bagger
I believe The Current is intended to be a serious newspaper that is suitable for reading by all without the use of such gutter language.
Mr. Cohen should be reprimanded and he should issue an apology.
I do not wish to have this email appear in the “Letters to the Editor” section or anywhere else in The Current.

Let me add my name to those who have contacted their senators and representative regarding pulling NPR’s funding.

I have, amazingly enough, a favorable opinion of the cartoon. IMHO,it’s so clever and hip, it’s not even funny

But seriously, ladies and germs, is that the funniest that NPR can be? On a subject so important to them — that’s the best they can muster? You’re kidding me Smalls
Looks like we’re gonna steamroll them on the humor front as well

I saw Starboardhelm’s post and wondered who would post somthing with “Please report” on the end.
I have to admit I did not get it but that is BRILLIANT!
I suppose I just admitted my own stupidity.

NPR is the network that ran the “Schweaty Balls” Christmas cookie show where they talked about how good Alec Bald…I mean Schweaty’s balls tasted.
NPR has a long history of homo-erotic subject matter.

Bertie,I actually agree with her message here. She wants to know why the media is ignoring the “TEABAGGERS”…and SO DO I.
“Put microphones in front of them..lets hear what they have to say”
OK Maxine..but its not what you are hoping for.

Here’s Aman-duh. Oh, Tom, I find this all so disgusting..they won’t even talk to a conservative, but place all kinds of weirdos in the admin. Jennings, Jones, Dunn…and this would not even make news if they didn’t name shim as a transgender. So, really, what’s the point?
