New pics show five of six US flags planted on moon are still flying

Our apologies to those “bombs bursting in air,” because the latest proof that our flag is still there is courtesy of the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO), an unmanned spacecraft that is mapping the moon’s surface. LRO’s camera (LROC) took detailed shots of the six Apollo landing sites and, by studying the changing shadows at different times of day, researchers confirmed that the flags planted by the Apollo astronauts are still standing. Well, five of them are; Buzz Aldrin noted that Apollo 11′s exhaust toppled that flag upon liftoff. “Personally I was a bit surprised that the flags survived the harsh light and temperatures,” LROC’s chief scientist, wrote. “But they did. What they look like is another question.” [Source]

But, Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) wants to see the flag we left on Mars.

That could be the last place in the solar system where an American flag can fly unmolested.
It also may be the last evidence that an America ever existed.

The lunar home owner association is requesting for them to be taken down, but no one can afford to go back to get them. They have a policy of no flags unless everyone can put one up there.

muslims are in a uproar because they say the moon belongs to Allah and MoeHamHead his prof.

    Glaring sun and no air

Unfortunately, like the LROC scientist said, not unlike Americas current white house resident, the flags have most likely turned to white.

I would like to congratulate John F. Kennedy and all the muslim nations who helped us get to the moon, with all their contributions to space and science. I would also like to give a shout out to Obummer who put our space program in the hands of the Russians. Hot damn!

My favorite part of the Apollo program was when we took a DUNE BUGGY to the Moon.

    Choke on that, commies!
