Bomb Threats in 10 Different Walmarts

Home - by - July 30, 2012 - 07:00 America/New_York - 15 Comments

TEA Party suspected.

(Newser) – Bomb threats were called in yesterday to two Walmarts in Kansas—following threats to eight stores Friday in Missouri. The warnings prompted the stores to close their doors after evacuating customers, but investigators found no explosives, ABC News reports. A recorded voice in the Missouri bomb threats said: “There’s a bomb in the building. You have two hours to get everybody out this store. This is not a joke,” according to a local police chief, who believes all the Missouri threats are linked. Police are continuing to investigate.

false emergency calls — how expensive is this? reminds me of that false boat sinking incident that cost us 100,000 or more and sent the coast guard and others on a wild goose chase, and during reporting of it, it’s NOT THE FIRST ONE.

These are tactics of the left. Bomb threats, “Swatting”, flash mobs, sensational exaggeration, etc., are typical of loathing liberals.
But BFH you are correct, the old media will pull another far right analogy without any basis in fact.

Yeah those violent tea party members here sure are trouble aren’t they?
The local police were on hand for the whole time, took most of their staffs for a couple of hours. Perfect time if you wanted to do some robbing elsewhere in town. Ozark is about 10 thousand and Nixa is about 15 thousand people.

The recorded voice was computer generated, I believe is what was locally reported. The call came in, the stores immediatly evacuated the customers and employees., They called the local police, who assisted in evacuations and stayed on scene while Walmart security did the bomb sweeps. The stores announced that due to conditions beyond their control, they needed everyone to leave the store immediatly. They asked everyone to leave carts and merchandise where it was and leave the store.
