    I watched the BookTV (CSPAN2) interview w/Edward Klein this morning about his “Amateur”, in which he said that the first lady has tried to create this meme about not liking politics and hating living in the WH but that nothing could be further from the truth. For all the women who wish a woman was president, for all practical purposes there is a woman running the country. Two, actually, michelle obama and valerie jarrett. Klein went on to say that the flotus absolutely loves being the wife of the preezy because she has people to take care of every whim she has. That, and all the expensive vacays. Can’t remember which year it was, maybe her first living in the WH, but she had 42 days of lavish vacay that year. So a $7K price tag for a little party jacket is chump change to her. And don’t hold your breath waiting for her to care about the optics, she doesn’t. People like her and her husband are used to fleecing people. Where they come from it’s a badge of honor to be a player.

    Isn’t it bad enough that she invented an excuse to impose herself on the Brits with that half-assed (as if) bogus exercise bullshit? On the taxpayers’ DIME?

    She’s got to show up in the trashiest, flashiest (silver? WTF?) outfit to try and upstage the royals.
    I LOVE how Kate Middleton looks the picture of class and poise… pretty much the polar opposite of the desperate sideshow from THIS side of the pond.
