What he’s tryin’ to say is if the gov’t FINDS OUT you’re makin’ it on your own, WITHOUT all these things, they will intervene and make your life HELL until you get them. There is no way the gov’t will let anybody, knowingly, succeed without the gov’t getting a ‘piece of the glory’ . . .and the income. Used to be when folks would start a business with the money they’d saved, and there were no roads to speak of, in the nice quaint lil town.

**This is a guy we need to get to know**
I got bombarded by a lefty friend a few months ago with some videos he was part of creating that made an oblique reference to George Lakoff. The videos were atrocious and completely insulting to conservatives, but were supposedly materials lefties were supposed to use to “win” arguments with conservatives, or win the election or something. I went delving into the background of this Lakoff guy (whom I’d never heard of, or wasn’t aware if I’d heard of before) and discovered a new circle of ideological hell.
When his name surfaced on the Blaze yesterday and I followed some of the links, a lot of pieces fell into place for me. This guy has been writing for years and feeding the lefty intelligentsia some hearty nonsense that is definitely bubbling to the surface of culture. A lot of it has to do with redefining words, or manipulating meanings, and a lot of this is why nothing seems to make sense anymore. I think it has been really damaging and more dangerous than it may seem at first.
I am glad he is getting exposed. He’s like the Krugman I’d never heard of, planting bad ideas in liberal heads that are affecting policy and ruining my America. Remember his name. Look him up. Look up his books, and look up some of the recent articles on him. Know your enemy!
