Mayor Bloomberg is pushing hospitals to hide their baby formula behind locked doors so more new mothers will breast-feed.
Starting Sept. 3, the city will keep tabs on the number of bottles that participating hospitals stock and use — the most restrictive pro-breast-milk program in the nation.

DUH!!! Hellooo… Formula costs money. Breast milk is FREE to “most” new mothers. It is actually kind of like a “Right”, because it is a free gift from God! Government can’t mandate or legislate that a mother’s Breastesses produce milk… although I suppose Clinton, or possibly Weiner, and whatever Kennedys are still alive, could actually “induce” the Lactation, but since most all the other Dem males are Homos, They couldn’t even do that on a mass scale! But if they limit the availabilty of formula, they can “nudge” more women into producing their own. And the ones who are incapable of Lactating, will just be that much more dependant on the kindness of King Obama and Queen Bloomer to feed their infants! Cradle to “early” Grave!!!

STOP with the over-regulation–just stop it! Think of the most absurd regulations possible–like how many squares of TP you are allocated to use, or whether you must put your right sock on before your left sock–and it WILL come to pass, sooner than you think! Bloomberg will show us the way!
Is NYC rationing baby formula now? So what about the women who just can’t produce enough breast milk? That does happen sometimes. Is Mayor Bloomberg going to say “tough luck, kid” while pocketing the key to the baby formula cabinet?

Not to worry Nanny Doomberg. With the Gubmint running health care baby formula will be one of the first things to go to cut cost. Next will be private rooms, semi-private rooms, clean sheets, regular bedpan changes, regular bandage changes, regular care…
…but, we’ll parade you around a stadium to show everyone how great our system is.
(actually all those kids in the beds were just being wheeled down to the warehouse because the hospital hallways were overcrowded and they just took a wrong turn into the Olympic Stadium)

The FSA will go insane. When I was on the OB floor at the hospital, the foodstampers wanted the formula with the gold label. Never mind the fact that we had about forty different kinds of formula specific to a child’s nutritional needs. They wanted the one that APPEARED to be the most expensive. And they wanted several cases of it to take home with them, plus their “free car seat” and diaper bag full of prizes.

Amish are jailed for selling non-processed milk. Soon, breast feeding women will come under the control of government to ensure the quality of the dairy products delivered to babies. This can be regulated by invoking the commerce clause because women who produce and distribute their own milk are affecting the market for interstate milk distribution by not participating in that commerce.
Quality Control will be able to dictate the diet of all human milk producers. With a new division within the Dept. of Agriculture to monitor the production.
