Not too long ago, probably even less than a year ago, I was ambivalent about the LGBT community – I really don’t care about anyone else’s sex life. I have no “gaydar,” I have no idea if some of my friends are acquaintenances are gay, and I really don’t care.
That attitude is changing, and it’s not because of anything conservatives or “right wing Christian wackos” have said – my change in attitude is due solely to the so-called gay activists. Their attitude is that I must accept the gay lifestyle as normal, I must not criticize gays, schools must teach about them, and society owes them some sort of special privilege because of their sexual orientation. Wrong – the gay lifestyle is not, and never has been normal, I can criticize anyone I want for whatever I want, I don’t want my kids learning about the gay lifestyle in school, and LGBT people are entitled to absolutely no special rights.
So, Mr. LGBT activist – put me in the gay bashing category – and it’s all your fault. I’m even against gay marriage now, and before I really didn’t care much one way or another about the issue.
