Flamboyantly perverted Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has announced that Chick-fil-A will not be permitted to create jobs by building restaurants in his fiefdom because the CEO of the company opposes the blasphemous travesty of homosexual “marriage”:
“What the CEO has said as it relates to gay marriage and gay couples is not what I believe, but more importantly, it’s not what the people of Chicago believe. We just passed legislation as it relates to civil union and my goal and my hope … is that we now move on recognizing gay marriage. I do not believe that the CEO’s comments … reflects who we are as a city.”
The thought crime that precipitated this latest liberal assault on free enterprise:
Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy was quoted last week as saying he was “guilty as charged” for supporting, what he called the “biblical definition” of marriage as between a man and a woman.

Maybe any small business owners who don’t want to pay xtra insurance premiums for gay couples’ benefits should just say “My Muslim beliefs don’t permit me to do that”. Then the issue quietly goes away.

I don’t understand who wants to do business in Chicago in the first place. They should all stuff the ice chest and get the hell out. I mean, roughly half the country (and most likely more) believes marriage should be between only a man and a woman, and everytime the people in any state have been able to vote on the issue we have voted it down – yet if you are a Christian and say you believe marriage should be between a man and a woman, less then 10% of the population is going to scream bloody murder as if you are Hitler

While I was just out in Illinois, I was introduced to a wonderful meal called the Horseshoe. I love chicago style hot dogs, italian beef sandwiches, and billy goats cheezborgers. That said, I won’t spend dollar one on ANYTHING in, from, or about Chicago until they unfuck themselves. The rest of the state may get some of my cash if I am passing through but Chicago isn’t getting dime one. I am boycotting it, and since I control where my company spends travel money when I get assignments ($1mil+ contract), Midway and O’hare won’t be options. I’ll be basing my travel on places that have a Chick-fil-a nearby!

The big problem is that Chick-Fil-A stores are Independent Franchises. Someone who wanted to open a Chick-Fil-A put up his money to purchase the franchise, he is now the owner of a franchise he cannot build!
Chick-Fil-A will probably handle this in a nice way unlike the Chicago way!

Do Emanuel of Chicago & Mennino of Boston think that they are now Michelle Obama telling me what I can and cannot eat. I had my first ever Chick-Fil-A meal today and it was really good. I went to a mall and the line at Chick-Fil-A was about five times longer than at any other station.
