Here They Come
Washington (CNN) — Taxmaggedon is coming. Unless President Obama and Congress act, Americans will be hit with what would be in total dollars the largest tax increase in history in little more than five months.
Income taxes will go up on every single taxpaying American. The Alternative Minimum Tax, designed decades ago to ensure that 154 wealthy Americans paid income taxes, would hit an additional 27 million Americans with a $92 billion tax hike. The death tax will come roaring back — hitting farmers, ranches and businesses.
The cost? A family of four earning $50,000 would see their tax bill go up by $2,200. A single mother with a $36,000 a year paycheck would see $1,100 more go to Uncle Sam. And a married senior citizen couple with $40,000 in income would see their taxes double — paying $1,700 in higher taxes.

every elected person in DC that was in office before 2010 should be voted out this nov. I will give the newly elected of Nov 2010 a pass for one more term, but the rest throw out and start over.
we might lose a few good folks but the number of worthless bottom feeding scumbags good riddance.
Total incompetence is a great reason for firing.

Government is paid for by the workers.
Government does not curtail spending.
Workers are forced to suffer while
government continues their spending spree.
They blatantly tell the tax-payers that government is in charge, not US.

Everybody knows we’re screwed if he gets re-elected. Either way it’s gonna suck from here on out, just not as bad if we get a real working president to replace the fake one.

Dismal as it is and will get, consider this; I live where they tax my salary 46.6% at source,(I make 55k)compare this to when I lived in Alberta making 156k a year and paid 10% flat tax, we pay 14.5% sales tax on virtually everything, my wife pays income tax, though she does not work outside the home and has no personal income, have a home but cannot claim a single thing on my tax return, home school, but cannot claim a single thing on my tax return, if we register ourselves as a business to try to defer our taxes, we have to show an income of no less than 30k from the get go before we can claim any material, or cost in the upstart of the business, pay the highest taxes in the country with the least amount of services or freedom.

Two months ago, my son came home from work doubled over with pain. We thought he may be experiencing appendicitis, so we called 911 for an ambulance. After waiting 15 minutes and no ambulance, we called back and were informed there were no available ambulances at that time!!! Imagine if this was someone having a heart attack? We live in the nation’s capital region and there are no ambulances?!! We had to take a cab!
And this just reflects the TIP of the iceberg!
America had damn well better wake up and wake up fast, because everything you think and fear is going to happen, will happen if the people do not stop it, and stop it now!
