HAHA – White House Condemns Tweeting of Joe Biden’s Remarks During Conference Call
They need time to spin this jackass’s remarks before they hit the media.
This is the worst administration ever.
Vice President Joe Biden will take questions from reporters on a White House press call today, and as has been the case in the past, the on-the-record conversation will be embargoed until the end of the call.
The curious caveat — who would write an article during the middle of the call? — is a product of the post-Twitter presidential campaign, barring reporters from the beloved habit of tweeting remarks in real-time.
But it begs the question: If it’s going to be in an article 20 minutes later, why can’t it be on Twitter right now?
From White House deputy press secretary Josh Earnest, via email: “The embargo will allow journalists to hear the entirety of the Vice President’s remarks and get the benefit of having their questions answered — before trying to condense a 30-minute conference call about a 20-page NEC report into a 140 characters.”

It occurred to me that Orwell’s ‘Nineteen Eighty-Four’ novel had all of the Obumble’s administration hallmarks intact, from ‘truth teams’ to his own ‘army’ as Hoffa JR stated, to the memory hole where real events get disappeared and rewritten by the media or even the WH itself. I can’t for the life of me remember exactly how it ended, though I am sure it wasn’t a happy ending where Winston ends up leading a liberation of the masses against BB. Things like this post remind me of that book, and what a warning it was to all about regimes of that nature. Room 101 is going to be crowded.

The brazenness of the “it’s not a tax” “it’s a tax” “it’s not a tax” talking points re: obamacare is another example. When called on it they cop the attitude “how dare you question your messiah” and move on.
A symptom of tyranny, in my opinion, is when the tyrants take it upon themselves to tell you what your reality is, and you dare not question it.
The problem is when you start to believe it and then go from crisis to crisis and parrot talking point after talking point.
I remember “man on the street” interviews during the Clinton impeachment proceedings. Ordinary Joes were quoted on camera saying “I don’t think it rises to the level of an impeachable offense” faithfully parroting word for word the dem talking points. I was saddened by that.

Hey SC — I recently re-read 1984 by Orwell. Scared the living crap out of me. Folks, we are almost there! And no, there was no happy ending in that book either.
