Rubio Sides Against Bachmann, Rooney Regarding Huma Abedin’s Possible Ties to Terrorism

Shark Tank

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann’s recent letter to the Department of State expressing her concerns about the possible infiltration of radical Islam throughout the federal government has received pushback from moderate Republican senators John McCain and Scott Brown.

””””””””””’

Perhaps somewhat more surprisingly, Senator Marco Rubio has waded into this controversy and has sided with his Senate colleagues against Bachmann and Florida Congressman Tom Rooney, who has also signed Bachmann’s letter.  Senator Rubio responded to the Shark Tank’s request for further comment by stating, “I stand by my statements.”

Question- would Rubio be taking a similar position if Abedin was Cuban and had family members with close ties to the Communist regime of Fidel Castro?

Just another reason why I can’t say I’d be happy with him on the ticket as Veep.

This guy is a politicican and anyone who think he isn’t should see me about a bridge I’m selling.

A couple years ago a woman claimed Rubio refused to answer her question (at a TEA Party rally) about his view of public-private partnerships, i.e., having govt be involved in business.

That was my first red flag on him.

Then he started that Amnesty 2.0 crap.

Add to that all the pix of him strolling merrily along with Boehner and Cantor. Enough said.

Shine a light. See what scatters.
Every Republican, and I mean every, should be calling for an investigation. Tell the people you want this matter put to rest. You feel it is unfair to allow doubt to linger. An investigation, leading to the exoneration of Huma, decency and justice deamds. We shall once and for all remove this millstone from her neck.
    Argue with that!

Are they all afraid to question Huma cause she’s a woman, or a Muslim, or a Saudi cash-conduit, or simply cause she’s a real weiner?

So is no one questioning the family’s connections, only Huma’s? If that’s the case, I too, would question how she got her clearance. 50 years from now we’ll have another Venona papers release regarding Huma Weiner.

John used to say “If you want a helping hand, look at the end of your arm.”

All politicians are, well … politicians.

They lie, steal, cheat, mince words, change subjects – anything to prolong their time in office and their opportunities for corruption.

They are, by nature, creatures who don’t want to do productive work, but instead, to live off the efforts of others.

Hmmm, that reads like a definition of “parasite.”

If anyone wants “leadership” he prolly shouldn’t be searching the pols. Besides, sheep need leaders, dog packs need leaders … free men and women need organization, fire, maneuver, armor, and artillery.

    Oh yeah, and logistics.

    The money quote:
“If you or I were trying to obtain a TS clearance from either the federal government or as a civilian contractor and it was discovered during the vetting process that we had immediate family members who were affiliated with a terrorist organization, we would be rejected for the same security clearance that Abedin currently has.”

    Ding, ding, ding!

Rubio is dead to me now.
Fortunately, I don’t think Romney will choose him as his veep.

That’s because Rubio isn’t dancing with them what brung him. He’s sharp and ambitious, and that knife cuts both ways. Unless there was a compelling reason for him to enter into the fray — like a direct question — he didn’t have to weigh in.

Scott Brown & John McCain abandoning Bachmann says it all. Too bad Marco Rubio chose to stand with RINOs. We’ll see how it plays out, or not.
