Of course they’re holding on to their money. They know where they’re leading this country. That, in and of itself, should be ample warning to the electorate.
On the flip side. It may be a good omen to conservatives. If they figure they don’t have a snowballs chance. Why spend the bucks? Either way, greed trumps collectivism. Self preservation trumps ideology. They have no honor.

Style over substance and the hypocrisy of liberalism could not be more self-evident than what is being displayed by the Democratic Party today.

For some of these Democratic congressmen, having their portraits removed from DNC headquarters may actually be a positive campaign point.

On a more positive note, the refusal of many Democrat members of Congress to contribute to the DNC or pay their dues – on the grounds that they need the money themselves for their own campaigns – illustrates the lack of loyalty by the Obama administration to members of Obama’s own party. Obama hung many of these people out to dry with his ObamaCare tactics, and doesn’t seem to care if they win or not – just that they worship Obama. Loyalty is a two way street, and these members of Congress are ditching Obama financially to look after their own interests.

I don’t think the left ever stood for voluntary redistribution of wealth.

As far as I know – the left always stood for forced redistribution of other people’s wealth. Not their own wealth or the wealth of their friends.

I find it very appropriate that the mascot of the democrat party is The Jackass;
-Lazy
-Whines all the time
-Relies on others to feed it (elephants hunt, so you can’t win that argument. You ever see a jackass hunt??)
-You have to beat the hell out of it just to get it to work, and even then it still may not happen.
-Throws a fit and kicks and screams when it gets upset.
-More than anything, just laugh-out-loud funny looking.
