What a Stoooooopid Idea

Home - by - July 21, 2012 - 21:00 America/New_York - 13 Comments

Some knob on Reddit thinks it would be a great idea if Christian Bale got in his Batman costume and visited victims of the Aurora shooting in the hospital.

What a jerk.

First of all, in my grogginess, if I didn’t have a flashback and start freaking out, my first thought would be to kick the shit out of Batman for dropping the ball so badly.

Great, while you’re here, Superhero, would you mind emptying my bedpan?

I couldn’t think of a better person than Christian Bale to lead the gay pride parade.

    WTF is Christian Bale anyway?

Wouldn’t that be similar to doing a low fly-over in New York City?

Honestly, I have been consciously ignoring most of the “stories” and “updates” and all of the stomach wrenching depravity that is the media circus and hoopla surrounding this tragic event. It always sickens me how people hover and fixate on tragic situations or peoples’ personal devastations, like freakin’ vultures, and I don’t want to have any part of it. I still haven’t read a single story about this one except for the initial report of what had happened, and of course the IOTW posts excoriating Ross and Rumplestephanoplskin. But it dawned on me earlier today as I heard the 50millionth airing of the Foxnewsradio and/or ABCNEWS “report” on the radio, that plays a loop every 1/2 hr… The Democrats and Hollywood are absolutely responsible for the deaths of those people, just like the 9 killed in AZ, and every other mass murder comitted by some angry delusional loser sociopath with a chip on their shoulder!!! For years Hollywood has bombarded us with images of violence and murder. They peddle blood and guts and death. They make villians and anti-heroes who are powerful and respected. Look at Michael Corleone. Several of Denzel’s characters, Samuel Jackson’s character in Pulp Fiction , for example. Hollywood’s main job for decades has been to blur the line, and often just overtly move it, between right and wrong, good and evil. They glamourize evil and violence. They also perpetuate the class envy, and educate then constantly remind people how their “misery” is someone else’s fault. Sane people (like us?) look at Corleone or Lex Luthor, or some other Bad Ass, and rationalize that while it makes for good cinema, in reality, the victims of those men are humans too, and there is nothing “cool” about victimizing people regardless of their situation. It’s why we don’t just eliminate the asshats destroying our civilization. But someone with mental deficiency could interpret those BadAsses as role models, just as this guy did, obviously. But what could have set him off? What made him believe that his fellow citizens were actually his enemies? What could have created such hatred of other people and a depravity? You know damn well what… The Divider in Chief! Mr Enemies List. The current cabal of Democrats have sewn such discord and created sush vile rhetoric that people are more bitterly divided than during the Civil War!

Hollywood created this fantasy villian wannabe. Obama fueled his rage and created the atmosphere of division and hate!

Sorry that post was so longwinded. The point is Hollywood portrays killers as heroes to the anti-social, and good and evil as relative. And Obama creates the Us vs Them mentality and fuels division between countrymen. This is a guy who saw Love, and Christ and the sanctity of Life, as his enemy. The Left IS responsible for the deaths and suffering of this tragedy!!!!

@cfm — a telling confession from the profile you posted:

“Male endowment — small to average”

This guy had major self-esteem issues. Sad that he felt the need to justify his inadequacies (sp?) by gunning down innocent people. :(

By all means yes, let’s reinforce the poor victim’s PTSD; it’s not like they haven’t gone through enough already.

An actor, dressed in a prop, is showing victims a ‘real hero?’ I’m missing something here.
