Listen to him say the economy is getting better. WHERE?
Food and fuel prices will tell you where the economy is.

Nowhere in the world, except here, can a person be so vapid and still make themselves rich beyond their wildest dreams.

Is this a great country, or what?

If Leno wants to keep his job at NBC, he has to spout the company line. Spineless asshole!

God, I miss Johnny Carson! He very rarely had politicians on his show. And, never talked about politics with them when he did.

Leno is a comedian with a car fixation. Why do we care what he thinks about anything other than comedy or cars?

Sadly, many, many people wait for a TV celeb’s every utterance to tell them what to think.
That’s why we, who know what;s going on, need to monitor what they are saying and ridicule and correct it.
We’re in this position because we allowed “famous” people to guide the court of public opinion for too long mow.

Newt needs his own show like Fox gave Huckabee. But I’d still rather have him as POTUS.

All part of the plan. I wonder if Leno is as big an ignoramus as most of the Hollywood crowd is, he whether he sells out his country knowingly?

I miss Newt and Johnny. There will never be another Johnny Carson and this clip showed why. Leno is not entertaining and this is not late night fare. Talking politics at that hour? Not for me, just before bed. I sure do wish Newt had fared better than he did. I voted for him in the primaries. I will vote Romney or an empty orange juice can against the Marxist.

    1)GET IN THEIR FACES
2)REPEAT A LIE OFTEN ENOUGH IT BECOMES THE TRUTH

So what Jay Leno was implying here, not forcefully to our president’s liking, is that we don’t get it.
We’re forever taking him out of context too.

Leno made a huge mistake trying verbally joust Newt. He must not have watched the Republican “debates”.

And damn, I miss Newt too. I hope there’s a position in Mitt’s administration for him.

@Moe Tom;, the audience actually applauded Newt when he said that Obama’s campaign was trying every day to make the campaign about anything but the economy. Gave me a little hope. I kind of wish Newt had pressed Leno on what part of the economy was improving because I suspect that Leno hadn’t been briefed by the NBC/Democrat liason member on how to spout crap and then go to a commercial.
