Too Late, Take Your Apologies and ….
Ann Romney, who trains with show horses as part of her therapy for multiple sclerosis, took offense in an interview with Robin Roberts on “Good Morning America,” and now the DNC is saying it will put out no more horse videos, and is expressing regret for offending Ann Romney.
“Our use of the Romneys’ dressage horse was not meant to offend Mrs. Romney in any way, and we regret it if it did,” DNC spokesman Brad Woodhouse told ABC News. “We were simply making a point about Governor Romney’s failure to give straight answers on a variety of issues in this race. We have no plans to invoke the horse any further to avoid misinterpretation.”
This is already a brutal campaign, but the Obamas have long said families are off limits. Apparently somebody high up reminded the DNC of that.

What straight answers? What variety of issues?
A smear within an apology without even accusing him of anything specific. And sadly, it will get a lot of mileage.

I read the comments to the linked article, and there are a lot of Obamabots trying to make hay with Romney’s reluctance to release his tax returns – thus, the dancing horse. Given that the IRS has already looked at Romney’s tax returns, this is just another “look – a squirrel” gambit by the Obamabots to cover the broken/unkept campaign promises from 2008, the impending disaster of ObamaCare, the high unemployment, the stagnant business climate, the wrecked housing market, the massive mounting government debt, the Obama administration’s failure to enforce the laws of this nation according to their whims, the inflationary tactics used to try to prevent the economy from imploding further, the lack of coherent foreign policy, the massive waste of government funds to Obama/Democrat cronies and the complete cluelessness of the President to even articulate any coherent remedial policies.
Actually, given the above, we can probably anticipate seeing more dancing horse ads in the future.
