Fascistic Aspects of America’s Democrat Party
The Democrats need to relearn circumspection and examine how much their proposals smack of fascism. There are more than a few coincidental overlaps between the “progressive” Democrat Party agenda and fascism. That is because there is an underlying driver in American progressivism that sees political unification and control of all aspects of human life as a solution to the nation’s problems.
One cannot support political centralization and unification, currency devaluation, multi-culturalism, and the welfare state without intentionally seeking disaster. In the case of multi-culturalism there is a mistaken opinion held by many that the progressive view of diversity is the opposite of racism. Unfortunately, the progressives’ program of multi-culturalism and diversity includes affirmative action and hate crimes policies that have been turned, de facto, into attacks on white men. There is an undercurrent of racism not only against white men in American progressivism, but also against Jews.
The key to understanding the current fascistic drive among progressives is to realize that it is has been a consistent, intentional policy of radicals and Democrats to divide the country by sub-groups and to deflate the value of loyal, benign patriotism, or love of the country of our founding. They target all institutions that keep the country stable, such as the family and the church. After decades of shredding the fabric of this nation, the Democrats are asking for the American people to mobilize behind them to “put it back together again.”
Even more insidiously, the Democrats continually support policies that are an affront to the humanistic value of life, such as abortion and euthanasia. It is instructive to witness progressives’ support of abortion, claiming a woman’s right over her own body; at the same time they support a nationalized healthcare system that would retract an individual’s right to control over his own health.
Fiscal arguments coming from a Democrat party that has given the country financial obligations for social welfare programs of over $50 trillion fail to convince that “cutting costs” is their modus operandi. The reasonable conclusion is that progressive support for abortion and euthanasia as implied by Obamacare is an intentional assault on Christianity and the ethic of human life. This is extremely dangerous.
When the degradation of the ethic of life is combined with increasing political centralization (with the latter’s tendency to perpetually unleash unintended consequences, which often cause a demand for strong, “active” political solutions; which in turn create more political problems, and so on) there is significant inertia towards fascism or other collectivist ideologies.
The expansion of the bureaucracy is also key for fascism, since it promotes a utilitarian, instrumental view of humanity. Control over the economy is crucial for fascism, so people have no other alternative than to cooperate with the state in order to feed their families. This is most commonly done via an avalanche of regulations.

Hitler was smarter than Marx. By using hyper-regulation rather than expropriation of the means of production, Hitler could collect property and income taxes from the producers while Marx could not. In the interim, Obama is more like the hyper-regulating Hitler, however moving everyday over to the expropriating Marx. Some choice.

I hold the view that Jonah Goldberg does. Fascism is not a form of gov’t but is a means to an end. In it’s most benign form, fascism is just united we stand, divided we fall. This can be shown by looking at this picture. On the front of the chair, in bas-relief, are two fasces. Which are the symbols of fascism.
Was Abraham Lincoln a fascist? Not in the traditional sense we think of. His “fascism” was that he used the end of slavery to get the people behind him and to hold the Union together.
Unfortunately, giving a Stalin, a Hitler, a Mussolini, a Mao, a Kim, a Mugabe, a Pol Pot, that much power just means that it takes a typical liberal genocidal dicitorial bastard to ruin something as good as united we stand, divided we fall. And remember that Wilson, FDR, and Obama aren’t that far behind the list above.

Obama will try to unite the country in hatred against Romney.
The nation is so divided, so fragmented, that the MSM — lead by Obama the Prosecutor in Chief — will end up believing Romney is a dangerous person, someone evil, of whom they must rid the nation.
Romney will be destroyed. The MSM will feed on his flesh and drink his blood.
Obama and the MSM will hunt, expel, and destroy the Mittens — until the bread and circus crowd finds itself devoid of rage, united in this cannibalistic feast.
