Politiho Asks Hos – Does the congressman owe a more detailed explanation to his Illinois constituents and the American taxpayers who pay his salary?
Here are the ho’s answers:
Former Rep. Martin Frost Attorney, former Democratic congressman :
Everyone should just leave Jesse Jackson alone til after Labor Day.
_______________
Celinda Lake Democratic strategist :
He has already provided significant detail twice. This hounding is entirely inappropriate.

Leave the man alone. He’s under no obligation to say anything to anyone. Just because he’s a public figure doesn’t mean the rest of us have the right to know everything that’s going on. If his constituents don’t like it, they can vote him out. That’s their right. Otherwise, give the man some privacy.

…unless he’s a Republican in which case, we’ll have our bootlickers in the press rip him a new one until he divulges all information that WE demand.

OK…sure, I agree. Leave the dumbass crackhead alone.
For as long as he wants.
As long as his “leave of absence” is UNPAID!

Look at their quote sources… Almost as bad as JJ,Jr. Frost is a mealy-mouthed piss-ant, and you see the former by his title. I personally voted against him.

“He’s under no obligation to say anything to anyone.”
He is technically a “public servant” who was elected by his district to represent the interests of his constituents. If Jackson is unable to fulfill the duties of his office, he definitely owes them a duty – an obligation if you will – to let his contituents know why.
What disturbs me about this is the attitude that the public serves the Congress, instead of congressmen serving the public. If the transparency required for the position bothers someone, then they need to find a position other than a member of Congress. The public needs to start demanding no less than this.

JJJ’s doing an above average job. He could have just faxed in “Present” for every vote.
Does that sound familiar?

Obviously, these sources are former patients of Dr. Ali Ben Twfeek, back before he learned control.

According to some broadcasters on WLS a.m. radio (Chicago), JJJ’s office didn’t announce his absence until the day after the deadline for someone else to file for election to the seat he holds.

Who pays his salary? We do? Then we have an absolute right to know what’s going on and when he plans to resign if he can’t do his job.

He’s taking cover for the shitstorm about to happen in Novemeber when the majority of his fellow congressmen with a D next to their name get launched into the unemployment line.
He knows exactlly what he’s doing. He’s hiding, and will stay in hiding until after the election.
And yes, sorry to say he is getting full pay to do this. That’s what his constituents love about him.
