Here’s why that won’t happen. The deer hunters in Wisconsin alone out number Iran’s army. Combined, the amount of registered deer hunter’s in the USA are by far the largest armed force in the world. I have this cool stat thing I want to paste here, but I’m thinking it might cause FUR some issues. But you can certainly understand why the UN wants to disarm us.

Gvii, watch out for Obama care. Guns in the house hold are suddenly a health hazard. Also, I keep hearing about Hillary getting ready to sign some damn contract with Nato that would give them the power to regulate our gun owner ship. Probably bull shit, but my brother lives in Florida and was telling me there’s a ton of hummers running up a down the highway marked U.N. What the hell? They are going to have fun collecting those weapons.

That’s what everyone is expecting, being taxed under Zerocare because guns are bad for your health. If I’m not mistaken, the CDC has tried to declare them an epidemic, so it’s only expected to spawn out of Zerocare. Fortunately, as we all know, the number of gun owners has skyrocketed due to Dictator Obozo and his policies, including his pandering to Mooselimbs.

England rolled over and let their rights die in that department, with barely a whimper. I just can’t see that happening here. Especially since people got fed up and started successfully taking the fight to the gun grabbers, I.E. Heller and Mcdonald decisions.

Why should what is happening in France surprise anyone? They were the first nation to hand over the Jews to the Nazis willingly, they surrendered to the same Nazis without as much as an argument, and they were among the first European countries to grant safe passage to the Nazis after the war.

My friend, it is already happening. Hang around here, Moonbattery, AWD and Bad Blue to mention a few, long enough, and you will see from the posts that it is already taking place all over the nation, quietly, and for the most part, without resistance.

There may be a resistance here greater than that of England, however, we, like the Jews, believed that the Nazi would surely not exterminate them, and so, went to the gas chambers virtually without resistance. They could not accept the fact intellectually that anyone would desire the complete eradication of their people, so they simply went along with it, hoping, believing that the roundup was only a temporary condition of war, and that they would eventually be set free.
When you have collaborators in the highest offices of the land assisting a dictator to squash the rights of the individuals, systematically, then it is just a question of time before the roundup starts.

You do realize that at least half of those people are at least broadly allied with the UN as regards the proper role of authority and the peasantry, right? And the other half have basically shown no willingness to actually *use* their arms against any form of government. The Open Carry Rally – a perfectly legal act – near DC a while back drew something like two dozen participants.

@Girl who Dated Roman Polanski”; it’s far more likely that if someone owns a firearm they will tend to be conservative. Liberals (especially the hard core) won’t have a gun on principle. I’m not sure where you figure that more than half would side with the UN (or I presume a Government gone mad) against the people. It does take some time to get the people roused but they are starting to now and the genie is out of the bottle.
