    “A primer on political Islam and the media’s (successful) campaign to keep us stupid”

    I have an issue with the headline. It is the use of two words “successful” and “us”.

    They are not successful on all of us. Not me anyway. I haven’t watched the vid yet, but I’m gonna step out on a limb here and say they have kept “progs” stupid. If I am wrong, I’ll be right back to apologize.

    Islam is a gutter religion, an ideology of hate, war, invasive conquest, murder, intolerance, rape, plunder and subjugation. It was invented by Satan and his lickspittle used-car salesman on Earth was Mohammed, pigshit be upon his name.

    And why should not Islam rejoice?
    Western culture is fraught with appeasement, mercy, weakness. Yet, for some reason, we survived. I sometimes think our Christian roots were bastardized, allowing a socialist hippiesque mentality to germinate. I sometimes think that, bad thing don’t happen to good people. Good people allow bad things to happen. We have ingrained in us, over a millennium, a tendency to seek the good. All the while, ignoring the evil.
    No one really foresaw Hitler’s evil. Or Stalin’s or Mao’s. Churchill came close. We, reacted. We now live in a time where real evil is foreseen. Reaction may be a bit too late.

    If we stop letting them pour into our countries and also stop buying their oil their funding would wither away and they would revert back to camel herding in less than 20 years – problem solved!

    @Jethro…but “the One” didn’t want Canadian oil or to allow drilling in the US…hard to stop buying oil from them when the CIC keeps bowing down, not locally sourcing and actively engaging in the destruction of the country.

    Not directed to Jethro (of the awesome avatar)
    When are people going to simply say…no, that law is crap, we’re drilling/piping etc. When are people going to simply not put up with stupid laws passed by an anti-American en-masse and do what they know is right? It’s the same as the lifeguard who saved the life and was fired…stand-up to the bullshit, toss the middle finger and carry-on…if we all take the same tactics, what are they going to do. Remember it’s WE THE PEOPLE.

    @MN Patriot–

    Were you being serious? And that question of mine is serious, as are the following:

    What about the Biblical justification of self-defense? Or what if they were threatening someone else in your family, or your friends–especially if a child was being threatened with beheading? I have nothing against martyrs–absolutely nothing–but we are commanded to protect and preserve life, which would include our own.

    You could have been joking–but my questions still stand. Will watch for a response.

    MN, WTF dude. That might be the end result. But there’s gonna be a shit load of bodies pile up with their larynx squeezed with my right hand imprint on them. I don’t doubt your faith. I have faith. But I’m smoking a shit load of them while I can. You are a brave man.

    Always love seeing horseshit like this. Makes me feel so wonderful living as close to Dearbornistan as I do.

    Also makes me glad I have a small ammo dump on hand. Yes, they will get to me eventually. But you can bet your ass that there will be a price to pay for every step taken.

    @MN Patriot–

    Okay, you’re serious. But what about the other questions?

    What would you do if others along with you were being threatened with beheading? Or just others, and not necessarily you? I’m not trying to play any kind of “gotcha” here. I am very interested in this topic, and trying to figure out just where MY parameters are. Comments?

    @Bad Brad–

    Now here’s a question for YOU: you call MN Patriot a “brave man”. Why? Is he brave for being a martyr? Are you less brave for trying to stop people who are bent on killing, and who would probably continue on from killing you, to kill others?

    @MaryfromMarin, Sorry, I did not address your other questions. So here goes.
    Yes we are commanded to defend ourselves.
    If they were threatening any one in my presence I would do every thing in my power to kill them.
    I will fight.
    But if they have me bound and tied with the sabre on my neck, I will not resist, I will welcome the end.
    Our Father has three wonderful gifts for the chosen.
    1. To speak in tongues.
    2. To interpret tongues.
    3. To die a martyr.
    And speaking in tongues is not standing around in a circle holding hands blubbering ibitybobity and rolling ones eyes and flopping on the floor.
    Speaking in tongues means speaking different languages. Like the Egyptian that runs the wireless store down the street. He speaks 17 different languages. He is truly blessed by God.
    And one cannot martyr himself. I don’t have a death wish. But if I had a choice of dying of old age or being beheaded by a muzzie I’ll take the latter.

    @MN P–

    Thanks for more info.

    So is your response more that you would accept martyrdom rather than choose the easy way out? If you were ABLE to resist, would you? I get that you would fight to protect others. Would you fight to protect yourself if you were not bound?

    (Hope you don’t mind the third degree. This is important to me.)

    @MaryfromMarin, Yes Mary, I would fight to the end.
    Like I said, one cannot martyr themselves. I would not throw down my weapon and say here I am cut my head off please.

    @MN P–

    Thank you for “unpacking” your first comment so thoroughly.

    I, too, would accept death rather than reject my Lord. But just what my actions/responses would be up TO that point is what I’m working on right now.

    Your responses are very helpful. I wish Brad would answer the question I asked him. I suspect that you and he are much closer in response than what first appeared.

    Oh, there you are, Brad. See my final sentence to MNP.

    In response to MNP’s original statement, you said, “That might be the end result” (meaning martyrdom). It sounds to me as if you and MNP are saying the same thing, just emphasizing different aspects.

    Faith doesn’t always weaken because of rough years. Sometimes it gets stronger, but is harder to access. I hope you can understand what I am trying to get at.

    Of course I don’t know what you mean by “a rough couple years”, and it’s none of my business. But I hope you don’t take what I said as just lightweight platitudes. I meant them seriously.

    Mary, What’s been rough is business, for a bunch of us. Tired of being so broke I can’t pay attention. Not quite that bad but you gotta admit thats a pretty damn funny line.

    As far as the end result, I have been fortunate to be a good athlete. Still occasionally wrestling with the local heavy weights at the local high school. That dictates seeing it thru, no matter what. So no martyr here. And I don’t think that’s where MNP was headed either. But as I get older the more I appreciate Faith and people that possess it. My wife does. I’ve always been the heathen in the family, HEE HEE.

    Sixty years ago a small number of citizens warned of a takeover of the U.S. by socialism/communism/totalitarianism. They failed in their mission because they trusted in leaders who were bought and paid for. We cannot trust in leaders anymore but must trust in ourselves. Are YOU still paying taxes to fund your own destruction? Are YOUR children still in government indoctrination centers? Are YOU obeying the unjust laws perpetuate tyranny?
