Thanks to Obama’s refusal to enforce our immigration laws, more and more Americans will be victimized by illegal aliens. A good friend was killed by an illegal who was robbing his home. We discovered the illegal also committed other crimes in a neighboring state but they weren’t sever enough to get ICE’s attention. My daughter was the victim of a hit-and-run by an illegal and I was stuck with the repair and medical bills. My neighbor’s child was exposed to TB from an illegal. Not only does it take more ethanol to produce the same amount of energy as gasoline, but the cost of increased maintenance on vehicles currently on the road, many an only vehicle to the unemployed, from the faster degradation of rubber components in engines, especially small engines (lawnmowers,chain saws, weed trimmers, etc)

As for failed investments; The “securitized mortgage” and “derivatives ” crisis of 2008 is the driving force behind both the initial drop and the lingering problems. Depressed real estate is still tied up in these securities and the market won’t recover fully until home values go up which can only happen if people are paying their mortgages and many people today stop paying their mortgages because their home values are so depressed. It’s a nasty cycle. This problem started under Bush but it was not his fault. It was the fault of the big banks and the lapse of some provisions in Glass Steagall. As for a fix… I don’t know. Bush gave 800 billion with no strings attached to the banks, Obama gave 800 billion more a few months later… some say it saved us other that it prolonged the inevitable “zombie apocalypse”. Who know? I personally disagreed with both of them. I will say this though… at least the govt got most of the Obama money back and or something for it (stock in GM).

But in the absence of mitigating evidence, we have circumstantial evidence.

* Hillary Clinton put forth the claim that 90% of the guns confiscated in Mexican drug crimes came from the US. That assertion was exposed to have been derived from intentionally skewed reporting.

* Hillary Clinton is a supporter of the UN Small Guns Treaty – as is Oblowme.

* Letting untracked U.S. originated guns walk into the hands of violent Mexican gangs created the likely possibility that they would be used in high profile violent crimes. This somewhat reaffirms her 90% assertion, but more importantly, it falsely influences public opinion to curtail, if not remove the right to bear arms.

I dunno, 7.62×39 is readily available. Around 21 cents a round for decent non-corrosive surplus, cheaper if you put a little effort into shopping. I buy it all the time for my SKS. And considering it is the round of the most widely used assault rifle ever made, there tends to be quite a bit of ammo around for it. Granted, a few years ago you could get it for less than 11 cents a round, so it is more expensive than it once was, but it’s still damn cheap compared to a lot of other ammo.

Somehow, I’m catching a whiff of BS in the air.

As for the other fellow, I can name more than a few reasons for hating Obama, not the least of which is the fact that his policies led directly to my being laid off from the job I spent 11 years at. There’s also his backstabbing at just about every part of the Constitution he stick a knife in. There’s his selective enforcement and non-enforcement of whatever laws suits his infantile mind.

And as for BFH, it is his site after all. And you may not care for the way he speaks to you, but he does speak to you. He also allows you to speak, even going so far as giving you your own threads to speak in. Go to a left leaning site and show your dissent for their ideas. Watch how fast your post gets obliterated. Or, if they are feeling saucy, they’ll let it post, but not allow you any rebuttals at all. You may not care for BFH’s responses, but you cannot deny the fact that he allows all the chances in the world to say what you want to say.
